Itinerary of your trip The Beauty Of The Philippines 10 Days

  • Day 1 Manila Free & Easy
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Manila Free & Easy

Manila is the largest city and the financial and commercial capital of the Philippines. It is located on the eastern shore of Manila Bay on Luzon, the countryโ€™s largest island. Manila is a modern metropolis with Filipino heritage and Spanish, Chinese and American cultures creating a unique atmosphere. Spread throughout the city there are many temples and places of worship of different religions. Baroque colonial churches, Buddhist and Taoist temples and the beautiful Golden Mosque are an example of the cityโ€™s multi-cultural heritage. Rizal Park, also known as the Luneta, is the cityโ€™s main attraction. Inside the park there are many important sites to explore such as the Chinese and Japanese Gardens, the National Museum of the Philippines, The National Library of the Philippines, the Planetarium, an Orchidarium, an open-air auditorium for cultural performances, and the monument and final resting place of the countryโ€™s hero, Josรฉ Rizal. At the northern end of Manila Bay lies the old walled Spanish settlement of Manila, Intramuros, meaning within the walls. Sadly much of it was destroyed during the war but it still contains some of the cityโ€™s most interesting museums, ruins, and churches including the Manila Cathedral, the most important church in the country. Colorful and energetic, Manila is a city full of history, edgy galleries, exciting nightlife, delicious restaurants and modern shopping malls. Once known as the Pearl of the Orient, Manila still is a tourist attraction all by itself.

  • Day 2 Half Day Manila Sightseeing (Private)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Half Day Manila Sightseeing (Private)

Begin your tour with a hotel pick-up before embarking on the Manila City Tour. Your first stop is Rizal Park, a location steeped in historical significance where numerous national and international events have taken place. It was at this very site that our National hero, Rizal, was executed in his courageous battle against colonialism. Take a brief pause at Rizalโ€™s monument to pay your respects.

      ยญ

Next, venture into Intramuros, the ancient walled city constructed by the Spanish in the early 16th century. Over the course of 400 years, Intramuros has borne witness to a multitude of events in Philippine history, enduring both human-made destruction and the forces of nature. Today, it stands as a testament to its storied past, a living memory enriched by European influence.

      ยญ

Within Intramuros, your visit will encompass several notable attractions, including Fort Santiago, the former Spanish military headquarters, Casa Manila, an exemplary colonial house, and the San Agustin Church and its accompanying museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site founded in 1586.

      Itinerary

      Anda Quinale Beach

Quinale Beach is a white sand beach with clear waters located in Anda, a small town on Bohol Island. Its powdery white sand is often compared to those of Boracay, El Nido, and Puerto Galera. It has gained popularity over the years yet is still not as well-known as other Bohol beaches like Alona and Dumaluan. This public beach is owned by the local government and can be enjoyed freely by tourists.

      Cadapdapan Rice Terraces

Cadapdapan Rice Terraces are the answer to Baliโ€™s popular Tegallalang Rice fields. These rice terraces have been carved out of the mountains and are truly spectacular to wander through or view from an aerial perspective.

      Combento Cave

Outside, it seems there is nothing unusual about this cave; it looks like just the other caves you perhaps have been to. But a few steps down to its chamber โ€“ lo and behold! This cave, indeed, is not your ordinary cave. Itโ€™s a cave pool. You can literally enjoy swimming inside. Though the whole chamber is not that big, the deepest part of the water measures more that 6 feet โ€“ enough to have your whole body in a standing position submerged.

      Can-Umantad Fall

Can-Umantad Falls in Candijay is one of the most impressive waterfalls you will find on the incredible island of Bohol, Philippines! There are also two other great attractions to visit in Candijay, which will make it a great trip. Stop off to see the Cadapdapan Rice Terraces and cool off at Canawa Cold Spring afterward.

      Cabagnow Cave

Cabagnow Cave is a cave pool in Anda, Bohol. It holds the record of being the deepest and biggest from among five other cave pools found in this southeastern part of the province. The deepest portions of the cave pool are approximately 20 to 25 feet and the shallow parts maybe about 12 feet.

This tour starts and ends in Tagbilaran Bohol and features several unique experiences all in one day. Visit the majestic Can-umantad Falls and Cadapdapan Rice Terraces in Candijay town, have lunch at the long white sand beach in Anda, visit the mystic Lamanoc Island with its rock shelter, caves with prehistoric hermatite paintings, ancient graveyard and boat coffins, go snorkeling and see the giant clams and coral gardens, and go for a swim and jump in a cave pool!
