Drive To Pokhara, Continue Driving To Ghandruk

In a tourist bus, the journey to Pokhara takes roughly eight hours. The trip is beautiful, with the scenery changing frequently and locals visible everywhere. Even though youโ€™ll be driving on a freeway, occasionally there may be traffic. Take use of the downtime to explore the area and take pictures. After arriving in Pokhara, we will continue on in a private jeep for an additional 3โ€“4 hours to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a stunning town nestled between the Annapurna South, Fishtail, and other neighboring peaks. The Gurung people, who are descended from the Gurkhas, have a long history in the village of Ghandruk. As a result, this village is well-known as the Great Gurkhasโ€™ settlement. Make sure to go around and look around the community.

  • Day 4 Trek To Tadapani (2,590M8444Ft)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Trek To Tadapani (2,590M8444Ft)

The hike today gradually climbs up to Tadapani Hill, where you will feel even closer to the mountains than you did from Ghandruk. The Khopra Trekking Trail ascends gradually at first and then becomes rather steep. The route weโ€™re on today weaves in and out of communities and the jungle. While on a hike in the spring, you may see monkeys that are amusing you and a rhododendron forest that is flowering. Enjoy your leisurely stroll and spend the night at Tadapani, a tiny community at the base of the slope. As we proceed towards Khopra, weโ€™ll stay on the same ridge.

    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Trek To Dobato (3,350M/10921Ft): 4-5 Hours

The walk we took today provides a unique perspective on Nepali trekking. We get to glimpse the mountains peeking out behind the hills as our journey takes us through the jungle and in and out of a thick forest. Watch out for unusual wild animals in the area as well as various types of vegetation and herbs. Surprisingly, this area is well known for snow leopard sightings, so keep a watch out!

Chistibung To Khopra Ridge (3,660M/11736Ft): 3-4 Hours

The gorge trek is pretty much the same as it was yesterday. Since this trail is less traveled, expect a small path and some rocky terrain.

  • Day 8 Rest Day: Side Trip To Khayer Lake (4,500M/14670): 10-11 Hours
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Rest Day: Side Trip To Khayer Lake (4,500M/14670): 10-11 Hours

We could feel a little exhausted and in need of rest after several days of walking. We halt here in order to take in the majesty of the Annapurna Himalaya range and the dispersed villages in the valley below. We can walk to the 4500-meter-high Khayer Lake in addition to spending a leisurely rest day. The area around this lake is quiet and serene because of nature.

The village hike for today is. Many locals will be present, but remember to get permission before taking their photo. The dayโ€™s main attractions are the farming terrace and the traditional garb worn by Gurung men and women. Additionally, today we pass numerous lovely old Gurung communities.

    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Hike Back To Naya Pul And Drive To Pokhara: 5-6 Hours

The final part of todayโ€™s journey is mostly flat and downhill, which is pleasant. It is possible to drive back from Ulleri, although it is not advised because the road may be slick and mud slides are frequent during the rainy season. If youโ€™d want to finish the hike in Ulleri, your guide can organize a jeep. Spend the night in Pokhara, where you may visit a spa, a luxury hotel, and enjoy wonderful cuisine and beverages next to Phewa Lake. Make the night lovely.
