As with Kathmandu, it is recommended to book in advance to secure your desired accommodation. In Tibet, comfortable hotel or guesthouse accommodations are available to cater to your needs. While specific names of accommodations may vary, you can expect to find establishments that offer comfortable rooms, basic amenities, and a warm ambiance. These accommodations provide an ideal base for exploring the cultural and spiritual wonders of Tibet. It is recommended to consult with your tour operator or travel agency to select the most suitable accommodation options that align with your preferences and budget. Remember to make your reservations well in advance to ensure availability and a seamless travel experience. The above tour price does not include a single-room supplement. If you are a solo traveler, you need to share one room with another tourist (same sex in most cases); if you prefer to stay in one room by yourself, you will have to pay for the single room supplement. And the exact price depends on market fluctuation in the high and off-season of the Tibet tour.

We are closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and have implemented the following measures to ensure a safe environment during our tours: 1. Vaccinated Tour Guides: All our tour guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and that of our guests. 2. Protective Measures for Guides: Our tour guides will wear masks throughout the tour and use gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, and providing hand sanitizer. They will also frequently check their temperatures and refrain from working if sick. They can return to work after receiving a negative COVID-19 test or being fever-free for 14 days. 3. Sanitization of Vehicles: Before each tour, our tour guides will thoroughly sanitize and wipe down all surfaces inside the vehicle to ensure a clean environment for our guests. 4. Temperature Checks: Our tour guides will use non-contact thermometers to check the temperature of each guest before entering the vehicle. Guests with a fever or traveling with others with a fever (temperature above 100.4ยบF/38.0ยบC) will not be allowed to join the tour. 5. Restricted Front Seat Access: The front seat of the vehicle will be off-limits to guests to maintain distance between guests and the tour guide. 6. Non-Compliance Measures: Guests who refuse to wear masks or abide by social distancing guidelines, thereby jeopardizing the health and safety of others, will be removed from the tour without a refund. 7. Minimal Contact: Our tour guides will be the only individuals handling the opening and closing of vehicle doors during the excursion to minimize contact. 8. Mask Requirements: Guests must wear masks for the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests must provide their masks, and those without masks will not be allowed to take the tour. Children under five or with medical conditions are exempted from wearing masks, while children aged five and over must wear face coverings. 9. Social Distancing: Guests are expected to maintain a 6-foot distance from the tour guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, and other patrons. 10. Sanitization at Stops: Our tour guides will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle at each stop. 11. Hand Sanitizer/Wipes: Our tour guides will provide hand sanitizer or wipes to each customer when they re-enter the vehicle. 12. Limited Group Size: To ensure social distancing, we limit the number of guests on our tours to 8 people. 13. Ongoing Monitoring: Our leadership team will continue to closely monitor the recommendations from reputable health organizations and implement best practices accordingly. 14. Contact Tracing: When making a reservation, we collect guests' contact information to facilitate contact tracing during a positive COVID-19 case. We are committed to maintaining clear and direct communication about our safety measures and will adapt our plans as needed to ensure our guests' safest environment.
