      Board Druk Air for your flight to Paro, Bhutan. On a clear day, the panoramic views of the Himalayas are breathtaking, including a glimpse of Everest if youโ€™re coming from Delhi or Kathmandu. The approach through the Bhutanese foothills and the landing, with its dramatic turns to touch down at the small airstrip in Paro, adds to the excitement. Upon arrival, your Bhutanese guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit Rinpung Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

      In the morning, embark on a hike to Taktsang Monastery, also known as the "Tigerโ€™s Nest." This iconic monastery is built around a cave where Guru Rimpoche (or Guru Padmasambhava) meditated in the 8th century. Perched at an altitude of 9,678 feet, Taktsang clings dramatically to a sheer cliff, overlooking a breathtaking drop. After your visit, return to your hotel for the night.
