      Description: Arrive Kathmandu before six in the evening. The tour representative will greet you warmly at the airport and lead you to the hotel. There are no activities planned for the day, so take your time to settle down with everyone else in the group. Interact with the locals and explore the surroundings on your own. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the largest metropolitan region in the Himalayan area. Relish the cold weather and drink the refreshing glacier-fed water, which is the purest in the world.   • Day 2 Day 2: Paro – Thimphu

      Day 2: Paro – Thimphu

      Description: Board the plane at the wee hours of the morning to travel to Paro in Bhutan. The valley town, Paro, at the west of Thimphu, is renowned for the numerous sacred sites. Clear the immigration and customs formalities upon arrival at Paro, and then proceed to meet with the tour rep and driver outside the airport. Visit the famous Buddha Point, atop the hill in Thimphu. Marvel at the 125000 miniature Buddha statues which constitute the gigantic figure of Lord Buddha. Visit Tashichho Dzong and the Traditional School of arts and crafts too. Free time to explore the magnificent city on your own in the evening.   • Day 3 Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

      Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha

      The third day of the tour is marked with the arrival at Punakha, a charming Himalayan town in Bhutan. Pay a visit to the fortress of the seventeenth century, Punakha Dzong, at the juncture of the Mo Chhu and Pho rivers. Hosted the popular masked dance and music festival of Punakha Tshechu at the fortress. Visit the other temples in the vicinity that include Chimi Lhakhang and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, which offer scenic mountain views. Soak in the spiritual ambiance at the Chimi Lhakhang Monastery and spend the night at the hotel.
