Itinerary

Day 1: Amman - Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Pick up in the morning from your hotel in Amman.

Drive (2½ hour) to Petra for a 2 ½ hour guided tour.

Enter the city via the 1200m Siq and see the Treasury and lower part of the city.

Then free time to explore, maybe the Monastery "Ad Deir" (900 steps).

Overnight at your hotel in Petra.

Day 2: Petra - Wadi Rum - Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
After breakfast walk into Petra for an independent visit.

Maybe climb up to the place of High Sacrifice.

Return to the hotel at lunchtime.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
Then drive south (2 hour drive) for a two hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum, also known as The Valley of the Moon, which is a spectacular valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south Jordan.

Watch the sunset and enjoy supper in the desert under the stars (weather permitting).

Drive back to Petra for an overnight at your Petra hotel.

Day 3: Petra - Dead Sea - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Amman

Stop At: Dead Sea, Madaba Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel then descend to the Dead Sea (3 hour drive), the lowest point on earth, where you can enjoy lunch and float at a Dead Sea Resort.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Mount Nebo, Madaba Jordan
Afterward drive to Mt Nebo (40 min drive) where Moses viewed the Holy Land
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Madaba Mosaic Map, Inside St. George's Church, Madaba Jordan
On to Madaba (15 minute drive) to visit St George church to admire the Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy land.

Drive to Amman (1 hour drive) for overnight at your hotel.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 4: Amman - Jerash - Amman City Tour - Amman

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Breakfast at your hotel then head up north of Jordan to visit Jerash (1 hour drive), the largest and most well-preserved site of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy for a 2 hour private guided tour.

To this day, its colonnaded streets, baths, theatres, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: The Citadel, K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein St. 146, Amman Jordan
Drive back to Amman (1 hour drive) for a city tour, including a visit to the Citadel and it's Archaeological Museum, the Roman theatre and souks and modern city.

Overnight at your Amman hotel.
Duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Amman - Airport, Amman

Pass By: Al Balad – Downtown Amman, Amman Jordan
