      Arrive in Johannesburg, we will embark on a road trip to Bulembu in Swaziland. Clients have an option to fly from JNB Airport to Nelspruit to shortern a long drive, if we arrive early we can do afternoon hiking. Overnight in Bulembu, Swaziland

  • Day 2 Bulembu To Rorkeโ€™S Drift
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Bulembu To Rorkeโ€™S Drift

      Early morning hiking (optional) before we set off to Rorkeโ€™s Drift. We will meet our qualified guide who will introduce us to the History of the Blood River Battlefields. The site witnessed a major confrontation between the Voortrekkers and amaZulu on 16 December 1838.

  • Day 3 Rorkeโ€™S Drift To Drakensberg

      Rorkeโ€™S Drift To Drakensberg

      In the morning before we set off, we will do a half day tour of Rorkeโ€™s Drift again, and we will head to Estcourt preperation Journey of Drakensberg Tour hiking. Overnight in Estcourt camp trail. We will meet with our qualified mountain guide to give us a program for the next day.

  • Day 4 Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park

      Mafadi Highest pick. Start your hiking in Mafadi. Injisuthi Tented Camp, gear up and head for the trail. This is a longish day to the summit of the Little Berg. Comfortable camping. It juts out 3 451 metres above sea level on the border with Lesotho, rising behind what is known as the Injasuthi Triplets. In Zulu Mafadi mountain is known as the โ€™satisfied dogโ€™, which probably goes a long way to describe the way one feels when finally on the summit. Overnight on the mountain.

      Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park

      Mafadi Mountain hiking camp. Camping to the summit of the escarpment: Going up and up via Judge Pass. Reaching the escarpmentโ€™s summit is always a big day. Youโ€™ll be ascending about 1000m in only about 3km. Hard work on steep terrain. What is to come from your hard work will be worth every ounce of effort. Overnight on The Mountain.

  • Day 6 Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park

      Ukhahlamba-Drakensberg Park

      Mafadi Summit: Going up some more to South Africaโ€™s highest point โ€“ 3456m above sea level. Once youโ€™re there just settle down for a moment and take it all in. Youโ€™ll have the province of KwaZulu-Natal at your feet and the Mountain Kingdom all around you. The scenery simply leaves you breathless and inspired.

  • Day 7 Drakensberg To Sani Pass Lesotho
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Drakensberg To Sani Pass Lesotho

      Tighten those shoe laces and warm your quads, because weโ€™re heading down, down and some more down. Itโ€™s going to be long and steep, so weโ€™re using all day to get ourselves off the mountain. We will arrive at the base and transferred to Durban Airport or Durban Hotel where the tour ends, Guests will continue with their onward journey.
