Day 1: Arrive Paro โ Thimphu
Stop At: National Memorial Chhorten, Thimphu, Chhoten Lam, Thimphu, Bhutan
National Memorial Chorten stupa was built in 1974 in the memory of Bhutanโs third King, His Late Majesty the King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. The paintings and statues inside the monument provide a deep insight into Buddhist philosophy.

Stop At: Buddha Dordenma, Kuenselphodrang, Thimphu, Bhutan
Buddha Dordenma Statue huge statue of Shakyamuni measures in at a tallness of 51.5 meters, making it one of the biggest statues of Buddha on the planet. The statue is made of bronze and is overlaid in gold. 125,000 littler Buddha statues have been put inside the Buddha Dordenma statue, 100,000 8 inch tall and 25,000 12 inch tall statues separately. Each of these a large number of Buddhas have likewise been thrown in bronze and overlaid. The honored position that the Buddha Dordenma sits upon is a vast contemplation corridor.

Tashichho Dzong has been the seat of the government since 1952 and presently houses the throne room and offices of the king, the secretariat and the ministries of home affairs and finance. Other government departments are housed in buildings nearby.

Morning half day excursion to Tango Cheri Monastery. Afternoon visit , Changangkha Lhakhang, Takin Zoo, Royal Textile Museum and General post office.

Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Morning visit National Library, National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Folk Heritage Museum and finally drive towards Punakha via Dochula Pass.

Day 4: Punakha โ Paro
Stop At: Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, Punakha Bhutan
Khamsum Yuelley Namgyel Chorten is 30 meters (100 feet) tall and can be seen in the distance when driving or walking up from the footbridge towards the lodge. The three-leveled chorten took eight and a half years to build and was consecrated in 1999. It is dedicated to the 5th King and serves to protect him as well as the country. It is therefore filled with every form of colorful protector imaginable.

Stop At: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan
Later part of afternoon visit Punakha Dzong including the longest Suspension bridge (230 meters). After lunch proceed to Paro, 3 hours drive.

Day 5: Excursion to Chelela Pass
Stop At: Chele La, Bhutan
Morning drive to Chelela Pass and its a two hours hike. Afternoon visit Drukgyal Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.

Day 6: Hike to Tigerโs Nest Monastery
Stop At: Paro Taktsang, Taktsang Trail BT, Paro Bhutan
Morning hike to Tigerโs nest monastery and later part of afternoon visit Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 7: Depart Paro
Stop At: Paro Airport Bird's Eye View Point, Paro Bhutan
