We will continue to the famous Guincho beach where you will see the westernmost point in Europe, the Cabo da Roca, and we will stop in the beautiful city of Cascais. WALKING TOUR FROM RESTAURADORES AND ALFAMA (2HRS 30MIN)(30 EUR) Walking tour starting at the Plaza Restauradores, we walk in the direction of the heart of the city of Lisbon, Rossio, where we will discover the charms of the Baixa Pombalina, rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755. We will see the Santa justa elevator, one of the ex-libris of Lisbon and the energetic Augusta street. Next, we start to approach Lisbon´s oldest hill, its first settlement, Alfama Hill, home to Phoenicians, Romans, Muslims and Christian kings. As we start to climb, we will see the church of St. Anthony, where this Portuguese saint was born, and Lisbon Cathedral, its oldest church dating back to the 12th century, always with the yellow trams as our companions, always going up and down the traditional hill. We continue climbing until we reach one of the most incredible viewpoints of the city, the viewpoint of the Sun Gates, where you can see the typical Portuguese rooftops and the Tagus River. After walking through the old narrow streets and corners of Alishubuna, we will get to know the humble and traditional neighbourhood of Alfama, considered the true soul of Lisbon. From the orange trees, small houses, old Jewish quarter, fountains and decoration, we will discover the true beauty of Lisbon. The morning will begin with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid, featuring highlights like Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. We’ll then visit Retiro Park, a beautiful oasis in the city center, where we’ll see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the home of Real Madrid—considered by many to be the best football club in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, we’ll provide a return transfer to the hotel.

We´ll leave Madrid, heading towards the capital of Extremadura: Mérida, where we´ll visit the archaeological complex of the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre (tickets included), a World Heritage Site renowned for its excellent state of preservation. There will be time for lunch in the pleasant pedestrian historic center bustling with life and restaurants. We´ll continue to Portugal and stop in Évora, another city recognized as a World Heritage Site, with its white streets, Renaissance palaces, and cathedral. We´ll arrive in Lisbon in the evening.

In the morning, we´ll embark on a sightseeing tour of Lisbon, exploring the Portuguese capital of the seven hills, with its charming alleys, iconic tiles, the feeling of "saudade," and the beautiful Atlantic light. We’ll also visit the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators set sail to cross the oceans in the 15th century. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you’d like to, you could take an optional trip to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel from the lively Restauradores Square, filled with vibrant bars and cafes.

We’ll head to the north of Portugal to visit Fátima, a revered sanctuary. Our journey will then take us to Porto, Portugal’s second largest city. We’ll have free time for lunch before embarking on a panoramic tour of this charming coastal city at the mouth of the Douro River. Known for its cobblestone streets, colorful houses, imposing bridges, and delicious wines, Porto promises a delightful experience. We’ll also include a visit to one of its historic cellars. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore at your leisure.

Today, we´ll travel through stunning landscapes. In Braga, we´ll take a ride on the world’s oldest water-operated cable car to reach the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, where breathtaking views await. After exploring the sanctuary, we recommend descending via its picturesque staircase. Our journey continues into Galicia, where we´ll visit the historic town of Cambados in Rías Baixas. Here, we´ll embark on a glass-bottom boat trip along the Ría de Arousa, learning about mussel and oyster production. Enjoy wine and mussel tasting onboard. At lunchtime, we´ll arrive in Santiago de Compostela for a city tour led by a local guide, exploring its medieval streets and renowned pilgrimage sites dating back to the Middle Ages.
Day 7 Day 7: Santiago De Compostela, Lugo, O Cebreiro, Leon, Madrid

We´ll journey along the Way of St. James, stopping in Lugo to explore the historic town center and the Roman Walls of Lugo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuing our route, we´ll stop in O Cebreiro, a charming Galician stone village. By lunchtime, we´ll reach León, where we´ll visit the Gothic cathedral renowned for its stained-glass windows and take a leisurely stroll through the historic town center. Departing around 5:00 p.m., we expect to arrive in Madrid by approximately 9:00 p.m.Note: Depending on the group size, the journey from León to Madrid may be done by train or regular transport.
