      A smooth one-and-half-hour bus ride through rice field scenery along National Highway 1 brings you to the beautiful rural district of Trung Luong.

      On arrival at My Tho, after visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely cruise on the Tien River to view the four beautiful islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise. Boats pass by the fish rafts along the Tien River, overlooking the Rach Mieu Bridge. Stroll along the village road, visit the orchard and enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music" performed by locals.

      Riding a hand-rowed sampan through the Tan Thach canal. Then visit the coconut candy mill and take an amazing rowing boat trip along the small canal on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals.

      Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant; Then the motorboat will take you back to the cruise. Meet on the bus and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta, and you are guaranteed to take home your private collection of beautiful memories.

      Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. 

      Have lunch at local restaurant.

      Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerillaโ€™s food during the war) will be served. 

      Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. 

      Return to Saigon.

      9:30 - Arrive at My Son and we'll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking through the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, and enjoying the Champaโ€™s traditional performances.

      11:45 - Get back to the minivan and move to a local house to learn how to make rice paper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later on!

      12:30 - Back to the van and have lunch at another local house. relax with cold herbal tea,  nice food, and fresh air.

      13:30 - Take a boat trip to Hoi An with the nice and cool breeze onboard, and beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in Central Vietnam named Thu Bon River.

      After breakfast, you will first visit Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. We then embark on a leisure cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.  Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. 

      On arrival back in the city, we will visit magnificent Wat Xiengthong a superb piece of Lao temple architecture, which presents a sweeping two-tiered roof and ornate mosaics including a beautiful โ€˜tree of life โ€˜glass montage on the rear temple wall.  Afterwards, we will visit the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center (closed on Monday) to learn about Laosโ€™ many ethnic cultures. From there, we will transfer to visit Wat Prabath to admire the sunset; this is the really peaceful place to catch the last beauty of the day. The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely collection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

      Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.

      From there, we will visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace. Just set on the ground, the local people come here to barter their dayโ€™s catch from rice, to vegetable, to fish, or chicken. This is the best chance to experience the flavor of local life

      After breakfast at the hotel, we ascend the 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River. 

      We then visit the Buffalo Dairy Farm, which is the first of its kind in Laos. The farm helps Lao farmer have benefits from the dairy products from their buffaloes, that they cannot imagine before. 

      This then takes us to the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls which is the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals. 

      You have the rest of the afternoon to refresh with the cool clear water, or hiking to the top of the waterfalls.

      There is also the chance to walk to the nearby village of Ban Thapene, and explore the hidden waterfalls, which is rarely visited by other tourists

      If you wish, we will also take a short visit to the Bear Rescue Center, which houses a couple of dozen animals rescued from the hands of poachers and traffickers.

      On the way back to Luang Prabang, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, set serenely close to the Mekong, this beautiful, traditionally styled workshop, where weavers, spinners and batik makers produce top-quality fabrics, offers free tours every half-hour. This is also one of the best spots to admire the sunset in Luang Prabang

      Transfer back to your hotel late afternoon.

      Following that, satiate your hunger at one of the many local restaurants within the Angkor Complex with some delicious Cambodian cuisine (by your account).

      Your final two stops will be at the massive and gorgeous Angkor Wat, followed by a stunning sunset view from the top of Phnom Bakheng. The temples on this tour are among the largest in the Angkor Complex, and Phnom Bakheng has a 300-person limit at the peak, so we keep the temple count low to ensure enough time at each spectacular stop!

      Weโ€™ll return to town once the sun has set (around 6:30 p.m.) and your legs have grown tired.
