After lunch we return to Ho Chi Minh City to vist major sights including Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office and Ben Thanh Market.       Spend your morning to discover the stately Hanoi. Begin your day with an insight into the life of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's most respected revolutionary leader. Visit his mausoleum, house on stilt, the Presidential Palace and the historic One Pillar Pagoda. Then set foot to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university originally built as a temple to Confucius. After lunch, we will visit the Museum of Ethnology, one of Vietnam's top museum. Then jump on the iconic cyclo the Old Quarter. Later enjoy the unique Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is open from Tuesday to Thursday and weekends from 8am to 11pm. Closed on Mondays and Fridays. The mausoleum is closed for two months of the year, usually October and November, when Ho Chi Minhโ€™s body is undergoing maintenance by an Russian expert.

      Today from Hanoi we will visit the Ancient Capital of Hoa Lu, Dinh and Le Sanctuaries and visit Tam Coc's three caves by sampan.Visiting Tam Cแป‘c (โ€œthree cavesโ€) is a 3 hour excursion by small boat along the Ngo Dong River. The landscape is beautiful rice fields and karst towers. We float through three natural caves (Hang Cแบฃ, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba). The largest cave is 125m long with a ceiling about 2m high above the water which was lovely to float through. It is fascinating to watch how the women handle the row boats with their feet with such dexterity. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

After dinner, check into a private cabin on Sapaly train. Overnight on train.

      Our private vehicle will pick you up at the Hanoi Railway Station and take you to a hotel for breakfast before being transferred to Hai Phong/Halong Bay via a cruise bus. Check in at the cruise terminal around 11 am then a tender boat will take you from the wharf to board our luxurious cruise ship. You will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served as we set sail for Lan Ha Bay passing by the Da Chong islet where you will see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. After lunch, explore the extraordinary limestone karst landscapes and Me Cung cave. Swim or kayak in the crystal clear waters of the bay, at Ba Trai Dao beach or Tra Bau area. Back on the main boat join a Vietnamese cooking demonstration before dinner, a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers. You will be guided through the process. Enjoy pre dinner "Happy Hour" with a special drink menu (buy one get one free). Tonight, enjoy a special Dinner in the restaurant. After dinner relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range of wines, beer and liquors available.
