About experience

With the longest seafront of Italy, Bari combines its commercial and urban part represented by the university, buildings and theatres with the history and culture of the old town marked by churches and fortifications. Continuing on the north, you will find first Trani with its white and monumental cathedral, one of the masterpieces of the Romanesque architecture, and then Andria. Despite the city today is not considered a touristic place to visit, it was a favourite haunt of Frederik II, who built in the XIII century one of the most extraordinary castle of Apulia, Castel del Monte. Its perfectly octagonal shape and the incertitude of its function make the castle a place of mystery. The tour ends with the visit of the saltworks of Margherita di Savoia, one of the largest in Europe with its 4000 hectares producing over 5 million tons of salt every year.

Tour leaving from Bari

Bari is a charming coastal city in southern Italy. With its medieval old town, beautiful beaches, and delicious cuisine, Bari is a popular tourist destination. The city is famous for its Basilica of San Nicola, an important pilgrimage site. You can also explore the old town of Bari, enjoy a stroll along the waterfront, and try the delicious pasta orecchiette. Bari is a perfect place to immerse yourself in the culture and history of Italy.
