      Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to the exit gate and look for your driver, who will be waiting in the lobby, holding the signboard with your name on it, if you cannot locate your driver, please go to the Airport information counter situated in the middle of Domestic and International arrival lobby (inside the terminal) and call the emergency numbers provided by your travel advisor for assistance. Your driver will come to meet you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure.

      Experience the enchanting city of Hanoi, known as the "Paris of the East," and admire its charming yellow colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and serene lakes. To begin your journey, pay a visit to the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an imposing marble and granite monument that houses the preserved body of the beloved revolutionary leader, Ho Chi Minh. Beside the mausoleum, you will find the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a Buddhist temple shaped like a lotus blossom, built in 1049.

      Continue your excursion with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnamโ€™s first national university, founded in the late 11th century and dedicated to Confucius studies. This picturesque temple is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture. Take pleasure in the peaceful atmosphere and gain a glimpse of Vietnamese history and culture.

      In the afternoon, broaden your knowledge of Vietnamโ€™s traditions and ethnic diversity by touring the Museum of Ethnology (closed on Mondays), which showcases an extensive collection of traditional costumes and artifacts from the countryโ€™s 54 ethnic minority groups. 

      Return to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the intriguing Old Quarterโ€™s maze of narrow streets. The "36 streets of 36 wares" are named after the original 36 artisan guilds that resided here in the 13th century. 

      Conclude your day with a captivating water puppet performance. This unique form of art is native to Northern Vietnam and originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta, where villagers entertained themselves by manipulating puppets over the water. Enjoy the colorful wooden puppets as they portray the tales of local legends and history.

Located in Hoa Binh Province, Mai Chau is renowned for its magnificent vistas of mountains and valleys surrounded by lush landscapes and stilt houses, as well as the authentic lifestyle of the White Thai ethnic group.

      Upon arriving in Mai Chau, check in to your accommodation and savor a delectable lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a 2-hour cycling excursion through the stunning valley of Mai Chau. Your guide will arrange for conversations with local hill tribe people to learn more about their daily lives, such as planting rice, herding buffalos, and constructing traditional houses.

      Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a cycling trip to Tho Ha Village in Nho Quan. Choose between a 5-15km (3-10mi) leisurely ride that will take you through charming villages and picturesque countryside landscapes. You will then continue your journey to Dong Tam Hamlet, where youโ€™ll learn about the daily life of the local farmers and take part in fun agricultural activities like catching crabs, fishing, and watering vegetables. Afterward, join a local family for a short cooking class and learn to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes for lunch.

      In the afternoon, head to the Nha Le Pier and board a rowboat to explore the 900m (2,953ft)-deep Galaxy Grotto. The cave got its name from the sea of stalactites growing from the ceiling, resembling the stars. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy some leisure time.

      After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave Ninh Binh for Halong Bay by private car.

      Arrive at the jetty around noon and take a boat to the cruise. After a welcome onboard and check-in, lunch will be served while the cruise is making its way through the hundreds of islets.

      In the afternoon, enjoy some activities such as swimming and kayaking or visiting caves (depending on each boatโ€™s itinerary), or just spend relaxing time on board.

      Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night in a beautiful place, so donโ€™t miss the sunset before having dinner.
