      After breakfast, heading out of town, we drive to My Tho, a capital of Tien Giang Province, is an island port in the Mekong River Delta which is 2 hoursโ€™ drive from Ho chi minh city. Pass by to visit beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. On arrival, embark on a cruise navigating along Tien River, sightseeing 4 beautiful islands, Long, Lan, Qui, Phuong. Wander through Thoi San Island, stop by to visit local coconut candy workshop, take a boat to orchard at Qui Islet and taste five seasonal fruits, listen to โ€œDon Ca Tai Tu Nam Boโ€ - one of Vietnamese folk music.       Attend the most exciting history lesson ever on a Cแปง Chi Tunnels Tour! Learn about Vietnamโ€™s guerilla war by climbing into the underground tunnels that used to be rigged with booby traps, which played a crucial part in the fight. Built by local fighters during the Indochina conflict, the Cu Chi tunnels served as a base for the Viet Cong, the National Liberation Front. It included almost everything needed for the life of the Viet Cong, where the local soldiers and residents used to eat, sleep, work, cook and even go to school. Started in 1948 as a hiding place from French air attacks, by 1965, the tunnel was estimated to consist of an astounding 200km of tunnels within a larger tunnel system. Have an unforgettable experience as you explore the underground tunnels and get to know what life was like for the Viet Cong soldiers

      The tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war used to be. We can even crawl a part of the tunnel to experience the real life of the Vietnamese guerrillas, who used to use and live inside this system during the wartime. Return to Saigon late afternoon.
