      Upon arrival in Hanoi, our guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. In the afternoon we will go to the castle-like Opera House. Then we pay a visit to the busy Old Quarter and the peaceful Ngoc Son Temple situated on a little island in the middle of the Hoan Kiem Lake.   • Day 2 Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Night Train To Laocai

      Day 2: Hanoi City Tour - Night Train To Laocai

      After breakfast, we will head to the extensive Ba Dinh Square and visit the nearby Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House (closed on Mondays, Fridays, annual maintenance on Jun-Aug), One Pillar Pagoda and Presidential Palace. Then, we will go northwards to the West Lake area, which is full of enchanting natural sights and many ancient buildings such as the Quan Thanh Temple and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. After that, we will continue our journey to the Temple of Literature and the Ethnology Museum. Later, we will enjoy the Vietnamese traditional folk performance โ€“ the Water Puppet Show.       Our guide and driver will pick you up at the Laocai Railway Station and take you to the hotel in Sapa. After that, we will hike to Cat Cat cultural village. The village is in a wonderful scenic area that is suitable for hiking. You will be amazed by the rural landscape with incessant terraced fields encircled by green hills and blue waters, en route. Next, we will continue our trek to a minority locality, the Sin Chai Village, to experience their ethnic customs.       In the morning, the Hanoi tour guide will pick you up at the railway station and set out on around a 3-hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Board the cruise at around noon and have lunch on board while sailing out into the mysterious bay. You will take an excursion to one limestone cave to view a great many stalactites and stalagmites.       This morning you can explore Hanoi City at your own pace. If you rent a bike or walk about the city, you can get a nice glimpse of the old French-style buildings alongside the neat streets. In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport to catch a flight to Dong Hoi. After landing, you will be picked up and transferred to the downtown hotel.       After breakfast, we will drive to the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, which is a scenic region featuring complicated and various karst landforms as well as deep and miraculous limestone caves. While there, you will take a boat to explore the mysterious Phong Nha Caves. After viewing the peculiar stalactites, you can visit the long and large Paradise Cave. Then, we will visit the graceful Hien Luong Bridge stretching over the Ben Hai River, where you can take some photos. After that, we will visit the Quang Tri Citadel and the La Vang. In the afternoon, we will go to Hue, approximately 3 hoursโ€™ drive. Later, take a short boat trip to the riverside Thien Mu Pagoda with over 400 years of history. Then we will visit the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City in central Hue.       After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and drive to Hoi An. During the 3-hour journey, we will stop for a panoramic view of the sea and surrounding rolling mountains at the Hai Van Pass and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery at Non Nuoc Beach. Later, we will stop by the Museum of Cham Sculpture to admire the stone and earthen carvings and then climb the Marble Mountains.  Upon arrival in Hoi An, you will do the check-in at your local hotel and then be free to explore for the rest of the day. After having lunch at a fancy restaurant, we'll take a pleasant boat trip to a nearby island village and learn about the villagers' traditional way of making pottery. Upon arrival, we will go to the Elephant Falls and watch the big white statue of the smiling Buddha at Linh An Pagoda.
