We will stop at several local villages and have time to wander around and get a feel for the place. We will also stop for a meal break. Tonight we will stay at a hotel near Phew Tal (lake) in Pokhara. The evening is a good time to be sitting and looking over the lake as the sun sets over the mountains. This is a very peaceful and beautiful setting.

Up bright and early we head to Sarangkot, a mountain viewpoint where you can watch the sunrise over the Annapurna Mountains and over the lake below. This is a great way to start the day. We will then head out on our tour of Pokhara and surrounding areas. There are eight mountains that appear so close when viewed at sunrise. You will be able to identify Mt. Machapuchare (Fish Tail) in the distance due to its unique shape. The next place we visit is Deviโ€™s Falls, just two kilometers from Pokhara. The water plunges directly down into a narrow passage and is considered a dangerous place to swim. A tourist by the name of David drowned here, hence it also being referred to as David Falls. We will then drive back to Phewa Tal where you can take a boat trip along the 1.5 kilometer lake and visit the Barahi Temple located on an island in the middle of the lake. At one end of the lake is the Seti Gandaki River. If you donโ€™t suffer from claustrophobia and a fear of bats, then a visit to Bat Cave is fascinating. We will stay overnight in Pokhara. NOTE: You have an option to try paragliding from Sarangkot โ€“ a real thrilling experience as you glide across the mountains and land next to Phewa Tal (lake).
