      Upon your arrival at Bucharest International Airport, our driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Bucharest for an overnight stay. Enjoy a welcome dinner at one of Romaniaโ€™s famous restaurants, opened in the 19th century. Overnight in Bucharest.

      Our journey in the country of supernatural and vampires will start from the capital city Bucharest. With a blend of modern structures and historical landmarks like the Palace of the Parliament, Bucharest has the allure that many other capitals have.

      This Dracula tour takes you through sites that are related to the mysterious phenomena and mythical creatures that failed to be explained. You have some free time for lunch. In the evening we will visit Bucharestโ€™s Old Centre. The narrow streets from nowadays, which are filled with stylish bistros and cafes, are the place that public trials were held. The judge of these trials was the Wallachian prince Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Tepes), the man that inspired the legend of Dracula. The day ends with a lovely dinner at a cozy restaurant.

      After breakfast, we will depart towards Transylvania, and our first destination for the day is the charming city of Sibiu. Following the former trade routes that were traversed by armies, caravans, or fugitives hundreds of years ago, through the Carpathian Mountains we will arrive in this historic city. We will explore the beautiful city with its expansive and picturesque square, delving into the secrets held by its ancient walls and catacombs underneath.  If the weather allows weโ€™ll make a stop at Poenari Castle on the way. Built in the 15th century by Vlad the Impaler. It is considered the real Draculaโ€™s castle, with1480 steps to climb to reach the ruins. Prepare for an awe-inspiring journey on the Transfฤƒgฤƒrฤƒศ™an Road, called as "the best road in the world" by Top Gear.


      Constructed under Nicolae Ceauศ™escuโ€™s order in the 1970s, this mountain pass is a marvel of engineering, offering an unforgettable driving experience. The road reaches its highest point at Bรขlea Lake, situated at an altitude of 2,042 meters, making it one of Romaniaโ€™s highest and most picturesque routes. En route, we will pause at the impressive Vidraru Dam, an engineering masterpiece nestled in the Fฤƒgฤƒraศ™ Mountains. The journey concludes in Sibiu, one of Transylvaniaโ€™s most charming and culturally rich cities. With a history dating back to the 12th century, the city boasts a blend of cultural influences and a rich artistic heritage. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure, relishing a Romanian traditional dinner and exploring the city on your own. Overnight in Sibiu.

      On this ongoing Halloween journey, weโ€™ll continue our exploration delving deeper into the captivating region and castles of Transylvania, which still hold more secrets to unveil. This tour promises unforgettable memories as we uncover the treasures of our trip. Our main attraction for todayโ€™s adventure is the medial marvel of Corvin Castle. Several international publications included it among the most impressive castles in the world. Corvin Castle is undeniably a must-visit location in Romaniaโ€”a place straight out of a fairy tale. Constructed in multiple phases, starting from 1440, the castle stands as a true Gothic work of art. Its three main areas of interest include the Knightโ€™s Hall, the Diet Hall, and the circular stairways. Functioning both as a defensive stronghold and a prison, the castle is known to have had a bear pit where prisoners were thrown to be eaten by wild animals.

      As the day concludes, weโ€™ll reach Cluj-Napoca, the largest city in Transylvania and one of the most significant student centers in Romania.   • Day 5 Cluj-Napoca - Biertan - Sighisoara - Bran - Halloween Party

      Today we embark on a visit to Biertan Village and visit the Biertan Fortified Church, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back to the Middle Ages, captivating many with novelists with its chilling allure. Built in the 15th century, this fortress ranks among the largest fortified churches in Transylvania. The fort is a dominant landmark in the area as it has three defensive walls and eight towers. 

      Our journey continues to Sighisoara Citadel, recognized as the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the prince that is the core to Draculaโ€™s legend. Vlad Dracul, inspired by his fatherโ€™s name, Vlad Dracul, has left an indelible mark on Sighisoara, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Eastern Europe. Explore the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler at Casa Dracula (Draculaโ€™s House) and the Clock Tower, situated next to a Dominican monastery, now hosting a pub and restaurant. 

      Our next stop is in Bran, next to Bran Castle - where all the magic is about to happen. The evening is booked for your Halloween party at Draculaโ€™s Castle. After arrival and check-in, the Halloween costumes will come in handy, because at 09:00 PM we will attend the castle tour and the party. Overnight in Bran

      The day following the Halloween celebration will commence later to allow everyone a well-deserved rest and a chance to recharge their batteries. After enjoying breakfast, our first destination for the day is the city of Brasov. We will visit the iconic Black Church, a Gothic-style monument with a six-ton bell, the largest in Romania. After the fire from 1689, when the roof and the interior furniture were completely destroyed, the walls were darkened by the smoke of the fire and earned the name "The Black Church."

      While strolling through the streets of Brasov, it is impossible to miss the iconic medieval church. We will also take a city tour and get a glimpse of the most famous tourist landmarks. After visiting Brasov and having some free time for the lunch in the city, we will head back to Bran Castle, for a proper tour of the castle, where you will learn about its history, and connection with the Halloween event.   • Day 7 Bran โ€“ Peles Castle โ€“ Snagov Monastery - Bucharest

      Our next destination takes us to Sinaia, where weโ€™ll explore the worldโ€™s first castle powered by locally produced electricity. In its final form, Peles Castle stretches over a surface of 3200 square meters and it holds 160 rooms and over 30 bathrooms. The castle was home to one of the most important collections of paintings in Europe, and it is well-known for its large collection of over 4,000 European and Oriental weaponries. The final attraction on our tour is the Snagov Monastery, a historic and religious site situated on an island in Snagov Lake. It is most famously known as the alleged final resting place of Vlad the Impaler. Although there is no solid evidence that Vlad is buried in the monastery, it remains a symbol of Romanian cultural heritage. Overnight in Bucharest.

      After a great tour and a memorable party on Vlad Dracula footsteps, your Halloween holidays have come to an end. You will have some free time to explore the city on your own and do not forget to buy some Dracula souvenirs to bring back home as memories of this amazing experience. This remarks the end of this spooky tour through Romanian history and Legendary Vampire stories. 

      We will transfer you back to the Airport depending on your flight time.
