Guide

Hand Hygiene: Handwashing is one of the most important safety measures to prevent the spread of disease.  We will actively reinforce its importance by: - Implementing a handwashing policy that dictates when, how often and for how long all staff, leaders and crew must wash their hands on-trip.  - Promote the importance of hand hygiene to customers through signage. - Educate staff, leaders, crew and suppliers on the importance of hand hygiene via training.  Masks: We: - Provide masks as part of the First Aid Kits carried by drivers. - Require all customers, leaders and staff to comply with any local regulations or requirements that require the use of a mask in public or in certain places. Sanitation: We take the following measures: - Require all suppliers to detail their cleaning and sanitation protocols   - All cleaning and disinfecting products must be approved by health authorities.  Accommodation: - All rooms must be thoroughly cleaned between guests with all high touch surfaces in shared areas regularly cleaned and disinfected.  - Hand sanitizer should be available in public areas. Camp: - All tents must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between use.  - Ensure all bathrooms are well stocked with hand soap and paper towels. Transport: - Our mini buses/ 4WDs are thoroughly cleaned between guests with all high touch surfaces in shared areas regularly cleaned and disinfected.  - We Maintain a level of physical distancing on tour. - Hand sanitizer are available  Restaurants: - Must be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day  - Tables and chairs must be disinfected after each guest use - Preferred: Provide hand sanitizer to guests at the door before entry

      Day 1: Fes โ†’ Azrou โ†’ Midlet โ†’ Ziz Valley โ†’ Erg Chebbi

         We will meet you at 08:00 in front of your Riad/hotel and start the drive to Merzouga via Ifran and Midlet. During this journey youโ€™ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest - the largest in Morocco โ€“ where you may well sight Barbarian apes. Continue through the Tizi Nโ€™talghamt Pass to Midelt via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, stopping for panoramic views along the way. Then its straight to the impressive dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi! Here we get on the camels for a sunset camel ride over the Sahara Dunes. You will spend the night in the middle of the desert in our Bivouac for dinner, Berber music and a good nightโ€™s rest.

       This morning will be an early one, you will rise up and hike up the dune in order to enjoy what may just be the best sunrise of your life. Afterwards, you will hop on your camel and trek throughout the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes back to where transportation is waiting. After a refreshing breakfast we drive to visit the Gnawa people in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about the Gnawa music and their lifestyle. Then itโ€™s straight towards the Palm Plantation of Tafilalet, passing Rissani which is the old Alaouite capital of the Sahara Sultans. Get in touch with locals at a traditional market, before driving to Todra Gorges - the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. Here you will have the option to hike for an hour within the valley, where you will meet locals and learn about the culture and geography. Then we will arrive at your Hotel/Riad for dinner and a good nights rest.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Dades Gorges โ†’ Roses Valley โ†’ Skoura โ†’ Ouarzazate โ†’ Marrakaech

         We will wake up early and have breakfast before departing to the majestic sand castles and rock formations known as "monkey toes", We continue to drive along the amazing Valley of Roses and onwards to Ouarzazate, will visit the Cinema Studios before Heading to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Here you will have the opportunity to visit this old mud site, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. it is one of the last Berber chieftains who dominated the whole region. We later afternoon continue on route towards Marrakech passing through Tizi nโ€™ Tichka.
