      Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! Weโ€™ll transfer you to the hotel and youโ€™ll have some free time. In the afternoon, youโ€™ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Madrid, Leon, Oviedo

      Weโ€™ll leave early in the morning and cross Castile and Leรณn, making a stop in Tordesillas to learn about the townยดs history and enjoy a coffee at its main square. Weยดll then continue to Leรณn, where weโ€™ll have time for lunch and to visit the stunning Gothic cathedral in this historic city on the Camino de Santiago. Afterward, weยดll cross the Cantabrian Range on our way to Asturias, arriving in Oviedo in the evening. In Oviedo, weยดll include a one-and-a-half-hour city tour with a local guide, either in the evening or the next morning. During the tour, weยดll visit the 9th-century cathedral, the Congress Palace of Oviedo, Campoamor Theatre, and Calle Rรบa.Note: If the number of travelers from Madrid to Leรณn is very limited, the trip might be carried out by train or regular transportation, missing the stop in Tordesillas.

Weยดll also visit the Altamira Cave Museum (tickets included), located nearby. Later, weโ€™ll head to Santander, the capital of the region, a coastal city offering stunning views of both mountains and beaches. A panoramic tour with a local guide is included, allowing us to explore this elegant coastal city and its beautiful bay.

      Weโ€™ll start the day with a morning panoramic tour of Zaragoza guided by a local expert. Our first stop will be the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Weยดll also delve into the works of the famous painter Goya and discover some of his masterpieces. The tour will move on to the Roman theatre and a Renaissance palace, and then weโ€™ll take a stroll by the Aljaferรญa Palace.After lunch, weโ€™ll head to Catalonia to visit the Poblet Abbey, a stunning walled monastery set amidst beautiful scenery. It is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (tickets included). Our journey will then take us to Barcelona, where weโ€™ll arrive in the evening.

      Weโ€™ll travel south along the Mediterranean, making a special stop in Peniscola, a charming walled town by the sea surrounded by picturesque landscapes, where weโ€™ll have time for a stroll. Weโ€™ll then continue to Valencia, a vibrant port city on the Levantine coast, arriving around lunchtime. Will you try the famous paella? At approximately 04:30 p.m., weโ€™ll continue our journey to Madrid, but not before making a brief stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. Weโ€™ll arrive in Madrid between 08:30 and 09:00 p.m.Note: Depending on the number of passengers, the journey from Valencia to Madrid might be carried out by high-speed train.
