  • Day 1 Arrival In Vientiane City

      Arrival In Vientiane City

      Arrival at Wattay Airport and transfer to the hotel. Situated on the banks of the Mekong River, Vientiane is the charming and charming capital of Laos. Despite its small size, the city has a rich and diverse culture thanks to influences from Thailand, China, Vietnam and France.

  • Day 2 City Tour In Vientiane

      City Tour In Vientiane

      Breakfast. We will have a comprehensive tour of the city, including the oldest temple, Wat Sisaket, a very interesting structure with images of Buddha. We will also visit the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which once housed the famous image of the Emerald Buddha. On the way to the most important monument of Lao culture, the famous and sacred stupa of That Luang, we will stop to see the imposing Patuxai Monument, known as the Arch of Triumph of Vientiane. We will also explore the Talat Sao Central Market. In the afternoon, we will visit the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong, and then head to the outskirts of the city to see Buddha Park, which has a charming collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures, scattered along the banks of the Mekong, near the Friendship Bridge. There are about 200 religious images from about 500 years ago, created by a mysterious monk who wanted to make known his philosophy of life and the universe. We will end the day watching the sunset on the Mekong River from one of the riverside bars. Overnight in Vientiane.

  • Day 3 Destination To Vang Vieng Town & City Tour

      Destination To Vang Vieng Town & City Tour

      We will say goodbye to this beautiful city after breakfast, we will continue the route north along highway 13. We will pass through beautiful landscapes of the mountainous region. We will make a stop at Vang Xang, a famous archaeological site, from the 11th century. We will arrive at our final destination in the afternoon: the small, quiet town of Vang Vieng, located in a bend of the Nam Song River. This amazing setting, framed between the calm waters of the river and the sandstone, remains intact. We will cross the river to visit the Tham Jang caves, where we will take a short walk through the area and through some more remote villages. We will end the day watching a fabulous sunset (weather permitting) over the Nam Song River. Night in Vang Vieng.

  • Day 4 Destination To Luang Prabang City

      Destination To Luang Prabang City

      After breakfast, we will continue our journey north on Route 13 to Luang Prabang, possibly the best preserved traditional town in all of Southeast Asia. The beautiful route of the new road takes us through a stunning landscape of rice terraces and mountain villages. We will make a few stops in the villages. Each village in this area is different, some more prosperous than others, but all full of life.

      After arriving in Luang Prabang, we will have time to rest a little at the hotel. After the break, we will visit Mount Phousi to enjoy a sunset over the city, with its image reflected in the Mekong River. In the evening, we will visit the Night Market, where we can find a variety of items handmade by the inhabitants of the mountain tribe villages that live around Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 5 Excursion To The Royal Palace Museum & Kuang Si Falls

      Excursion To The Royal Palace Museum & Kuang Si Falls

      After breakfast, we will visit the Royal Palace Museum, which houses a variety of interesting artifacts. Our next stop in town will be the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs that extend all the way to the ground, representing classic Lao architecture. We will also take a look at the Centre for Ethnology and Traditional Art to learn about Lao ethnic groups.

      We will then move on to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls, where we can cool off in the natural pools or walk along the forest trails. We will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the scenery. We will also be able to visit the Bear Rescue Centre which is within the complex of the falls. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, we will climb the 329 steps to the top of Phousi Hill for a beautiful sunset view of the city and its brilliant reflection in the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 6 Destination To Nong Khiaw Mountain Village

      Destination To Nong Khiaw Mountain Village

      After breakfast, we will be picked up by our guide and driven by private car to Nong Khiaw.

      After arrival in Nong Khiaw, we will visit the historical Phathok Cave. The villagers of Nong Khiaw used this cave as a war shelter during the "Secret War" to protect people in the region. We will learn more about a secret part of Lao history and explore the historical caves with the guide. From the cave we will have a beautiful view of the rice fields and the valley. We will return to Nong Khiaw by a small path through the rice fields.

      We will enjoy the sunset over the river.

  • Day 7 Excursion To Oudomxay Village Mountainous Area & Luang Nam Tha City

      Excursion To Oudomxay Village Mountainous Area & Luang Nam Tha City

      After breakfast, our car will take us to Oudomxay, the most mountainous area of โ€‹โ€‹Laos. This area is home to 23 ethnic minorities. We will have the opportunity to meet the Hmong, Khmu, Black Thai and Lu villages, as well as the hill tribes of Ban Sogja and Ban Jarong. They are very friendly people and will welcome us with their smiles. We will pass through the town of Oudomxay, and continue towards Luang Nam Tha.

  • Day 8 Exploring Houayxay, A Border City With Thailand

      Exploring Houayxay, A Border City With Thailand

      After breakfast, we will continue to HouayXay, the border with Thailand, near Chiang Rai. On the way, we will be able to see many wonderful landscapes.

  • Day 9 Excursion To Pakbeng By Shompoo Cruise

      Excursion To Pakbeng By Shompoo Cruise

      Departure from Houay Xay every MONDAY / TUESDAY / THURSDAY / SATURDAY

      After breakfast, transfer to Houay Xay pier. Then, we will embark on our luxury boat on the Mekong. On the way, the boat will make its first stop at Pak Tha, to obtain the necessary boat documents. The second stop will be to visit a Hill Tribe village along the Mekong River. Our guide will explain the way of life and origins of these rural populations. During the afternoon, we can relax and taste the local flavors with seasonal snacks and drinks. The boat will arrive in Pakbeng before sunset, where we will spend the night.



  • Day 10 Excursion To Pakou By Shompoo Cruise

      Excursion To Pakou By Shompoo Cruise

      At 08:00 AM, the boat will depart from Pakbeng. Today we will make two stops. First, we will visit the famous Pak Ou (Tham Ting) Caves and its thousands of Buddha images. The second stop will be at Lao Lao Village, also known as the Whisky Village. There, the guide will explain more about the locally made rice whisky, and we will have the opportunity to taste it. We will have time to enjoy the charm of this small and authentic village, its temple and the local artisans. A typical snack and drink will be served on board in the afternoon. We will arrive in Luang Prabang around 4:30 PM.
