      AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, the land like no other, and 14 days of explorations, showing you the best of the ancient history and culture, the lush green tea estates and waterfalls, the amazing wildlife, and the beautiful golden sandy beaches. 

      Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel (we can pick you up from any hotel in Colombo or Negombo as well). The ๏ฌrst destination will be Negombo coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food, and fun. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • For day one, we havenโ€™t planned any activity, thus you are free to arrive in Sri Lanka at any time (we offer 24/7 airport transfer service).
      • You will spend the day relaxing on the beach and pool of your cozy hotel.

      After having a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or coffee, you will have a wonderful journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Anuradhapura Ancient City (UNESCO World Heritage Site). 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival take a tour around the ancient city, Sri Lanka has a rich heritage and Anuradhapura is one of the greatest and oldest civilizations in the world. It was the first capital, ruled by 113 kings for over 1000 years. 
      • Thereafter, visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the sacred tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment and that has stood with pride for more than 2200 years. 
      • Afternoon,  visit Ruwanweliseya, a monument built in 140 BC that embodies the culture, heritage, and supremacy of the strongest kingdom in Sri Lankan history.

      After breakfast, your tour leader will drive you to Jaffna. Itโ€™s a city located on the top corner of Sri Lanka, is a city that was kept away from the tourist trail due to the 30-year civil war which ended in 2009. It is now rising as a must-see Sri Lankan holiday destination as it offers much to do and it has a fascinating culture that is markedly different from that of the rest of the island, in๏ฌ‚uenced by many traditions from South India. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Jaffna, you will have an opportunity to witness the unique landscape of the northern part of the island along the A9 Highway. 
      • Upon arrival, you have one and half days to explore this incredible location. Jaffna has full of hidden treasures including the famous Nallur Kandaswamy, a huge Hindu temple with golden arches and an ornate Gopuram tower. The star-shaped Jaffna Fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and it was later occupied by the Dutch and British. Jaffna Public Library is the symbol of the post-war regeneration. Jaffna Archaeological Museum has Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artifacts.

  • Day 4 Multicultural Town Of Trincomalee / East Coast

      DAY PLAN:

      • In the morning, youโ€™ll depart from Jaffna, youโ€™ll travel towards the eastern coast of Sri Lanka and youโ€™ll visit the city of Trincomalee (3.5hr drive). Itโ€™s a fascinating place sitting on one of the ๏ฌnest natural harbours in the world. Trincomalee is an amazing multicultural town with lovely places such as Nilaveli Beach, Natural Hot Wells and Koneshwaram Kovil.  Here you will experience a quiet bliss in a tropical heaven, far away from the busy and chaotic life. There are many activities available in this location such as kite surfing, jet-skiing and sailing across in a canoe.

      DAY PLAN:

      • After breakfast, visit Polonnaruwa, in 1070 King Vijayabahu chose this place as his kingdom, one of the most ancient in the history of Sri Lanka. Cycling through Polonnaruwa (UNESCO World Heritage Site) ancient locations is a wonderful experience.
      • Afternoon, you will be heading to Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park for an afternoon 4x4 jeep safari, since it is the best time to spot wild elephants in their natural habitat. If youโ€™re up for a serious rumble in the jungle, then Minneriya/Kaudulla is your ideal destination! Spreading over 8800 hectares, this park is mainly a sanctuary for elephants. It is always a pleasure to watch baby elephants playing at the lake under the evening sunset.
      • Thereafter, spend your evening on your own walking around and enjoying the surrounding nature.

      DAY PLAN:

      • In the morning, you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site), since itโ€™s the best time to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of sunset from the summit. King Kasyapa (477 โ€“ 495 AD) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Known as one of the wonders of the world due to the amazing architecture & technology being used.
      • Thereafter, Youโ€™ll engage with a wonderful Cultural Village Tour while exploring the beautiful countryside.  It is a great opertunity to get close to unique local culture & life style of Sri Lankan people.  It will start with a Tuk Tuk ride, one of the most famous  transportation systems in Sri Lanka. While on the tour you will also enjoy a canoeing boat ride across the lake and a cart ride before reaching the farmerโ€™s house where you will experience the typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality. 
      • Afternoon, head back to your resort and relax with nature. If youโ€™re interested you could experience an Ayurvedic herbal massage. From a healing perspective, Ayurvedic head massage is said to relieve mental stress and fatigue and to help achieve calmness and clarity.

      After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Itโ€™s set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio-diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Kandy, you will visit the Royal Cave Temple and the Golden Buddha Statue (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and signi๏ฌcant historical drawings. 
      • Afterwards, you will continue your drive to Kandy, enroute stop at Matale Spice Garden.
      • Afternoon, you will visit the Temple Of Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Kandy view point.
      • Evening, youโ€™ll engage with a Cultural Dance Show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance and cultural heritage.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll enjoy a wonderful journey through the lush green tea plantations and the waterfalls towards Sri Lankaโ€™s tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred to as โ€œLittle Englandโ€ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queenโ€™s Cottage, the Generalโ€™s House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club, and the Town Post Of๏ฌce. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Morning, visit the Gem Museum; get to know more about the World-renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gem mining process during the museum tour. 
      • En route to Nuwara Eliya, while driving through the cold misty hills, stop at a Tea Plantation and Factory. Here you will observe the rich tradition of processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon tea kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.
      • Afternoon, explore on your own while walking through Nuwara Eliya city center (British colonial architecture; iconic post office/grand hotel/Victoria park) and the fruit and vegetable market.

      • In the morning, you will enjoy a Spectacular Train Journey from Nanu-Oya station to Ella village (Train tickets will be arranged at the station / Class category is subject to availability). It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world. 
      • Upon arrival, walk through the Ella village, Ella is everyoneโ€™s favorite hill country village due to the fact that itโ€™s a wonderful nature-friendly location. The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. Ella is a great place for walking and climbing and its most famous trekking route is โ€œLittle Adamโ€™s Peakโ€. 
      • Evening, you could chill out at the village center where there are lots of restaurants, pubs and also evening entertainments. Ella is a stunning location that anyone who is visiting Sri Lanka should not miss out.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-roue to Galle, stop at Matara to witness and take pictures of the most famous Sri Lankan Stilt Fishermen.
      • Upon arrival to Galle city, walk through Galle Fort listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions nowadays ๏ฌ‚ooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. Historical Galle Lighthouse stands proudly on the southeast tip of the fort.
      • Thereafter, youโ€™ll visit a Turtle Hatchery Center where baby turtles learn to take their first swim and injured adults are rehabilitated back into the ocean.

      • Upon arrival at Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit all the highlighted places in the city such as Red Mosque, Gangarama temple, Independent square and so on.
      • Afterwards, Perhaps, you may pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal.  
      • Thereafter, proceed to the airport in time for your return flight or we drop you back to your hotel in Colombo or Negombo.
