Day 1 Arrive – Rabat
Sightseeing in Rabat: Sultan tombs Chellah Necropolis, Tomb V. Mohamed, Ouadaia Kasbah. dinner overnight.
Day 2 Rabat – Fez
beakfast. Continue on Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, the old ancient ruined city of the Romans to Meknes. Tour of the city with the most beautiful gate of Morocco, the Bab El Mansour El Aleuj, the storage vault and horse stables and the Medina with the great mosque. Meknes is often also called the Moroccan Versailles and was next to the neighboring Fez for centuries the preferred residence of the rulers of Morocco. In Meknes good wine is grown. Continuation to Fes dinner overnight .
Day 3: Fez
Breakfast. Sightseeing Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities. They intend to visit the three neighborhoods Fes El Djedid, Fes El Bali and the Neustadt. Impressive are the mighty walls, of which the entire old town is surrounded. You see the Batha palace (late 19th century built), which now houses a crafts museum, the madrasa Bou Inania, the Karaouine Mosque, the tomb of Idriss II, founder of Fes, and the pottery district. Day 4 Fez – Marrakech
One day from Fez to Marrakech passing by Rabat then we take the highway from rabat to casablanca there we can have lunch 14: 00h Interior visit of the Hassan II Mosque, the second largest mosque in the world. Space for 20,000 believers and again for 200,000 on the square in front of it. It is built into the Atlantic, Continue to marrakech Dinner and overnight in riad.
Day 5 Marrakech
This day is for Marrakech sightseeing, you will have a guided tour to Menara Gardens, The Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian’s Tombs, Bahia Palace and Jamaa Lfna Souks.
Day 6 Marrakech – Day trip to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate
Depart from Marrakech to the High Atlas mountains, passing a small Berber village and the cool of Tizin Tishka, which stands at 2260 meters. Here, you can see incredible variegated colors in the rock and also a grand view of the mountains.
Continuing on the road, we visit the Kasbah of Telouat, an old castle where the Glaui Pacha lived. We then stop midday for a nice lunch. Afterwards, we go to the second Valley of Ounila to reach the Kasbah of Ait Bin Haddou, which has since 1987 been classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, where you can still find some families living in (although we won’t actually be able to join the families).
You may find it familiar: it was a chosen shooting site for the films Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Prince of Persia! 29 km from Ourzazate is a cinema studio where several films are shot. Once you finish up snapping shots of Ouarzazate, we wrap up our day and head back to Marrakech.
Day 7 transfer back to airport
