5-day Kruger National Park, Swaziland & Panorama Route Experience

Itinerary

Day 1: Leaving Johannesburg

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
Your shuttle leaves from OR Tambo International Airport strictly at 06:00AM. We highly recommend you stay the night before in Johannesburg, to ensure you are on time. A list of recommended accommodation can be supplied. The transfer to our lodge, located in Marloth Park, just south of Kruger National Park, will be about 5.5 hours in duration. There will be 2 convenience stops along the way.
Once you have arrived at the lodge, you will be check in and shown to your private en-suite room. You will have time to refresh, and relax on the deck of the lodge while enjoying nature and viewing the free-roaming animals coming up close to the lodge.
You will board the safari vehicle late afternoon to enjoy a 2-hour sunset drive in Marloth Park. This is a great opportunity to get accustomed to spotting animals from a game drive vehicle, as you will spend the next day in the Kruger National Park spotting the Big 5 and other interesting animals.
After you return to the lodge, you can relax on the deck or the communal areas, before gathering for dinner served at about 7PM. After dinner, you can still relax and interact with other guest, but we recommend not staying up too late, since you have to wake up early the next morning for the next game drive.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
This morning, you need to get out of bed early and meet us in the kitchen area for coffee / tea and rusks. We board the safari vehicle at the lodge and drive to the Crocodile Bridge entrance gate at Kruger National Park, only about 10 mins away.
Once entering Kruger National Park, we look at for animals active at sunrise, before the retreat to the bush to escape the heat of the day. We stop for a picnic style breakfast at a restcamp, before continuing further.
For lunch, we will stop at one of the rest camps with a restaurant, where you can order food and drinks for your own account.
We continue our game drive after lunch, and will return to the lodge in the late afternoon.
After you return to the lodge, you can relax on the deck or the communal areas, before gathering for dinner served at about 7PM. After dinner, you can still relax and interact with other guest, but we recommend not staying up too late, since you have to wake up early the next morning for the exciting day excursion to Swaziland.

Day 3: Swaziland

Stop At: Mantenga Cultural Village, MR19, Eswatini
This morning, you need to get out of bed early and meet us in the kitchen area for coffee / tea and rusks & snacks. We board the vehicle to drive to Swaziland, which is less than an hour away. At the border, you need to present your passport (and VISA if required) to obtain entry to Swaziland. We then continue to visit the following stops:
• Maguga Dam
• Swazi Candle Factory
• Ngwenya Glass Blowing
• Matenga Cultural Village

A light lunch will be served during the excursion. We will return back to our lodge in South Africa, to arrive late afternoon / early evening.

You can refresh and relax before enjoying dinner by about 7PM. Another exciting day awaits tomorrow.

Day 4: Panorama Route

Stop At: Panorama Route, R532 Blyde River Canyon, Graskop 1270 South Africa
Another early morning! Meet us in the kitchen area for coffee / tea and rusks & snacks before we embark on an exciting day out to the Panorama Route. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as some light hiking is required to some of the view points. A light lunch is included at the famous Harry’s Pancakes in Graskop. Places of interest to be visited, includes:
• Bourke’s Luck Potholes
• Lisbon Falls
• 3 Rondavels
• Mac-Mac Falls
• Lone Creek Falls
• Blyde River Dam
• Harrie’s Pancakes (for lunch)
• God’s Window & Pinnacle Rock

We will return back to the lodge arrive late afternoon / early evening. You can refresh and relax before enjoying dinner by about 7PM.

Day 5: Johannesburg

Stop At: Kruger National Park, Kruger National Park
Today, you can either sleep in after an exciting few days on tour, or make the most of the last morning by joining us for one of the optional activities:

1. A Morning walk on day 5 before departure @ ZAR900.00 pp
2. A Sunrise Drive on day 5 before departure @ ZAR570.00pp

A cooked breakfast will be served. You will be collected by the shuttle at the lodge at 12:00pm, the journey back to Johannesburg will be about 5.5 hours in duration. Expected time of arrival at OR Tambo International Airport will be 17:30pm
