      Kathmandu to Lukla (2,845 meters) - 45-minute Flight


      Your Everest helicopter tour begins in Kathmandu. From the domestic airport, board your helicopter for a scenic flight to Lukla. Enjoy breathtaking views as you fly over the Kathmandu Valley and the lush hills of central Nepal, part of the Mahabharat range. The flight takes you past dotted settlements in the central hills, landing in the beautiful hilltop village of Lukla. The flight duration is approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Lukla, take a short break while the helicopter is refueled, lasting around 10 to 15 minutes, before continuing to Kala Patthar.


      Lukla to Kala Patthar (5,550 meters) - 15 to 20-minute Flight


      Kala Patthar, a renowned vantage point in the Khumbu region, sits at 5,550 meters. Trekkers visit this spot for its breathtaking views, especially at dawn. Your 15 to 20-minute flight will take you over settlements along the Everest trail, including Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorak Shep, and the wilderness of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon reaching Kala Patthar, enjoy a 30-minute stop to marvel at the panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and other peaks in the Greater Himalayan range, including glaciers and icefalls.


      Kala Patthar to Everest View Hotel - 12-minute Flight


      From Kala Patthar, fly towards the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest hotels in the world. Despite the short flight, the views are spectacular as you soar alongside mountain giants and over the Khumbu regionโ€™s deep wilderness. The Everest View Hotel offers stunning 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains.


      Breakfast at the Everest View Hotel - 30-minute Stop


      Enjoy breakfast at the Everest View Hotel, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas and lush forests. After a 30-minute stop, prepare for your return flight to Lukla.


      Everest View Hotel to Lukla for Refueling - 15-minute Flight


      Fly back to Lukla, taking in the grand views of the snow-capped mountains and the verdant Khumbu region. This short flight will include a brief 10 to 15-minute stop for refueling.


      Lukla to Kathmandu - 45-minute Flight


      The final leg of your journey takes you back to Kathmandu in about 45 minutes.
