      Start your Moroccan journey with a local tour guide and explore the city of Marrakesh. You will visit the main historical monuments, including the Koutoubia Mosque, built in the 12th century, the beautiful Bahia Palace, built in the 19th century, and the Koranic School of Ben Youssef. You will also visit the famous souks, a great place for shopping, where you can buy gifts for your family and friends. Wander through the Majorelle Gardens, a peaceful space in the New Town with exotic plants brought from all over the world. You will finish your tour in the main square of Djemaa el-Fna with its storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, and open-air food stalls.       Today, we leave Marrakesh and drive through the magnificent Atlas Mountains, offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas. We will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, one of the most spectacular fortresses in southern Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, we head to Ouarzazate, where many famous movies have been shot, such as Alexander the Great, The Mummy, and Kingdom of Heaven. The scenery is absolutely stunning. You will have lunch in Ouarzazate, known as "The Hollywood of Africa," before we continue our journey to the palm groves of Skoura.

      Today, we will drive through the Rose Valley to reach Todra Gorges. We continue our trip, following the ancient Bedouin trading routes parallel with the Middle Atlas, passing a series of fortified villages with outstanding architecture. We keep driving to Erfoud, a town in a dry, red desert built by the French as a central administration town. It is known for its rich black fossil marble. We head down to the spectacular Merzouga dunes, where sand dunes signify the start of the mighty Sahara Desert. We leave our vehicle and take a camel ride into the desert, crossing the dunes to our luxury Berber camp. This is an experience of a lifetime; why not surf the Sahara Desert and try sandboarding? After relaxing and having dinner, we gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night, perhaps with traditional Berber drums.

      After watching the sunrise and having breakfast at the camp, you will leave the Sahara, riding camels back to Merzouga to venture into the Atlas Mountains, heading to a different part of Morocco. We cross the verdant oasis and magnificent Ziz Gorges, carved through volcanic rock, and pass through the Tizi Nโ€™Talghamt Pass to Midelt, passing millions of palm trees and fortified villages characterized by fascinating southern architecture. Continue through the Middle Atlas mountain range and great forests of cedar trees, terraced farms, and mud-brick Berber villages via Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft center specializing in cedar wood. We arrive in the medieval city of Fez.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century and is home to the worldโ€™s oldest university. The first stop is at the entrance of the largest royal palace in Morocco. Afterward, we will drive for a wonderful panoramic view of the entire medina from the southern tower of Fez, and visit a pottery workshop where tiles and Moroccan mosaics are made. We will visit the tanneries to watch the locals working with the skins of animals such as goats and camels. We will explore a madrasa (Koranic school), the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Karaouine Mosque University. Enjoy a Moroccan lunch at a traditional restaurant in the medina. Afterwards, continue to explore the medina, with its narrow alleys housing hundreds of merchants and craftsmen selling a range of products such as dates, spices, Berber carpets, brassware, and musical instruments.       After breakfast, drive towards Meknes, the fourth of Moroccoโ€™s imperial cities and the 17th-century heritage site. We will stop for lunch and explore the historical walls of the medina. Then, drive towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis, an open-air museum. Volubilis is not as spectacular as the Roman sites on the Mediterranean rim, but it is still a relaxing way to envision an important part of Moroccan history. Afterwards, drive to the blue town of Chefchaouen, a popular tourist attraction located in the Rif Mountains, just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. This beautiful blue city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue-washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography, with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains.

      Enjoy a free morning in Chefchaouen to explore more of the blue town. In the afternoon, we drive towards the city of Tangier. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and start wandering through the narrow streets lined with colorful doors, ancient and modern. Pass through the Grand Socco and the Petit Socco, with its multitude of boutique hotels and riads. This historic location has hosted a variety of famous artists, including Matisse, Camille Saint-Saรซns, Paul Bowles, and William Burroughs, and was the home of favorite son Ibn Battuta.

      Today, we visit Cape Spartel and the Hercules Caves. The Caves of Hercules lie just 14 kilometers outside Tangier. This cave system is worth visiting for its geological characteristics and its mythology. Marvel at the picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean and the famed Strait of Gibraltarโ€”a perfect photo opportunity. Stroll through the Kasbah district, located next to the port, before heading back to the old medina. Enjoy a free evening in the Tangier medina.

  • Day 11 Tangier - Rabat - Casablanca

      Today, we will depart from Tangier towards the administrative capital, Rabat. Upon arrival, you will see Hassan Tower, a 12th-century mosque that was partially destroyed by the Lisbon earthquake. You will have the chance to visit the ornately decorated mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan II. The building is considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture, with its white silhouette topped by a typical green-tiled roof. You will also visit the old Oudaya Kasbah at the side of the Bou Regreg River. This fortification was built as a military defense in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty. Afterward, continue to Casablanca, where you will see the magnificent Hassan II Mosque and the main interesting sites such as the square of Mohammed V.
