      After your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) in the Kathmandu, you shall be picked up by a Nepal Trekking Plannerโ€™s airport representative. You shall then be transferred to your respective hotel. After checking into your hotel rooms, you will have a free afternoon to explore the area by yourself (if you need any assistance from us please let us know). Later in the afternoon you may saunter around the streets of the iconic Thamel area close to the hotel if interested. Enjoy the hospitality and delicious cuisine in the hotel.       Day 2: Sightseeing Tours In Kathmandu

      We shall explore the ancient heritages of Kathmandu today, a day dedicated for the guided sightseeing of the medieval capital city of Nepal and for getting ourselves prepared for the trek beginning the following day. These heritages are included in the world heritage list of UNESCO, making these the assets of the world as a whole. Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of holy Bagmati River and one of these heritages, is a sacred pilgrimage for the Hindus all over the world. Other heritages are the Buddhist stupas of Swayambhunath (the 14th century stupa and one of the oldest of its kind in Nepal, is known as โ€˜Monkey Templeโ€™ among the foreigners) and the Boudhanath Stupa (one of the largest stupas in the world with a complex of several small stupas), which serve as the symbol of faith and belief of Buddhists. We may also explore the ancient royal palace and courtyard of neighboring city of Patan, known for unique Krishna Temple, royal palace and museum besides other carvings and artifacts. In the later part of the day, we shall have an interaction with the trekking guide and get all the necessary information required for the trek. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

      Today we have an early morning flight scheduled to Lukla thus this day shall begin with the flight to Lukla airport and end after trekking to the famous site of overnight stay, the village of Phakding. We shall begin early from Kathmandu in a short and scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. An adventure in itself, the flight takes us through the vicinity of marvelous and majestic Himalayas, over and above the lush green hills and valleys and to the breathtaking landscape of the airport in Lukla. This flight will give trekkers a glimpse of the adventure and excitement ahead in the trek. Upon reaching Lukla we shall trek onwards, from here the trail contours along the side of Dudh-Koshi (Milk River) valley before ascending to Ghat (2530m). The trail climbs towards Phakding and the walk is gradual and most of the way, with few ups from Tarhe khola, where you can have a superb view of Kusum-Kangru 6,369m crossing a short suspension bridge, from here after a short climb brings us to the Ghat village, another 01 hrs gradual walk brings you to Phakding village for the overnight stop near the bank of the Dudh-Koshi river.       After morning breakfast the trail crosses along the Milk River swaying bridge and lead you along the river to climb to Banker village (2700m). With short distance beyond the Banker the trail goes through on suspension bridge to east bank and climb to Chumoa. Short climbing to Monju and there we have to show your Everest National Park Permit and TIMS Card. After the complete registration of trekking permits and TIMS Card, we shall descend to Dudh Koshi and other side short distance to Jorsale which is the last village on the trail before Namche bazaar. Then the trail crosses back to the east side of the river before climbing up to the high suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. From here onwards we have a steady two and half hour climb to Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

      We shall spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air pressure. In a short trek in and around Namche Bazar, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks. Today you have easy day, a short walk uphill to the Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top of Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of the surrounding snow capped mountain includes Mt. Everest and the valleys way down, with an interesting museum with all kinds of information regarding the history of the Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering history and existing information on flora and fauna of this region. After short visit around the Museum, about 01 and half hrs steep climb brings you up to Syangboche, further to Everest View Hotel for magnificent panoramic view of Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Mt. Everest, Nuptse and many more. We shall then trek back to Namche. Stay overnight at Namche Bazaar.

      Today after having our breakfast we shall move on towards our new destination place called Tashinga. From Namche Bazaar the trail to Tashinga follows the classical approach route to Everest from where you can get breathtaking glances of the surrounding snow capped mountains including Mt. Everest. We shall follow an almost level and winding trail for about 4 hrs to Tashinga. And then we finally arrive at the lodge for our overnight stay within the next 15 minutes. Tashinga shall be our last and final destination for the day. Stay overnight at Tashinga.

      Now we wake up early for the trek excursion to Tengboche today. We shall begin the trek with awe-inspiring, unforgettable views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cholatse, Kantaiga, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. This part of the trek (approximately three hours) is quite an easy walk from Namche to Phunki, followed by a three-hour ascent towards Tengboche. Looking across the valley, you can see the path sloping up towards the famous monastery of Tengboche. The day begins with a descent down to Phunki Tenga. Here we cross a suspension bridge before beginning a climb with a steep ascent for approximately 1 hour through a quite heavily forest full of rhododendron and pine. Once out of the heavy forest line, the trail is quite gentle and gradual all the way to Tengboche. It has one of the biggest and oldest monasteries in the Khumbhu valley. After having our lunch we shall trek back to Tashinga. Stay overnight at Tashinga.

      Today after having our breakfast we shall leave Tashinga and re-trace the trail to Sanasa. Then the path leads up the shallow valley into Khumjung, the education centre of Khumbu area. If we have enough time we will visit the Khumjung monastery and Khunde Hospital. The trail leads us above Namche Bazaar, by passing the Syangboche Airport. Continuing through the beautiful valley you shall wander along the forest trail and so you might even have a chance to observe some National Birds (Pheasants), Himalayan Thar, Musk Deer. The last hours of our climb to Mende will literally take your breath away, but with gradual acclimatization over the past few days a steady pace and determination will get us to the top.       We have planned an excursion hike up to Thame today therefore we must take a dayโ€™s worth of water, camera and warm clothes as we walk through the lap of mountains which is inconveniently an old Tibetan trade route. Here onwards we are faced up with a well-formed, wide path makes for a mostly easy walk all the way to the Thame Village. Thame is a marvelous place as it retains many of its original building and culture till this day. And is perhaps one of the prettiest villages in the Khumbu valley. We shall visit the very popular Thame Monastery and Thame village, the home of Nepalโ€™s most famous mountaineers. And after having our lunch we shall re-trace our way back to Mende.       Todayโ€™s trekking is a near moderate leveled trek. After having our breakfast the path descents back down to Monjo, we shall first visit the Laudo Monastery, a fifteen minute walk above Mende. The main temple is only forty years old; it has a remarkable meditation room built behind a huge rock. You shall get a little strenuous patch only after Phungi Thanga village. It is an uphill trek so once you reach Namche; you shall have your lunch and proceed to Monjo. Namche to Monjo is really a mild trek, but some parts of the trail are really steep as they go downhill so you need to be a little careful about it. After our visit we shall re-trace and continue to Namche for lunch. Then we descend all the way to Monjo along the same route as on the way up. Stay overnight at Monjo.

      Today is our final day of the trek as we re-trace our trail back and continue our walk to Lukla. From Monjo we carry on the descent down to Dudh Koshi village through the small villages. Todayโ€™s trekking is considerably moderate as you shall walk along Dudh Koshi River and enjoy the beautiful villages on the way. This day takes us through the lower regions of the Everest Himalaya Region. As the altitude begins to fall, we realize huge growth in human settlements around the trails. From Chauri Kharka we start ascending the final hill of the trek to reach the Lukla. You shall feel great to be back again at the gateway of the Everest Region after couple of days trekking at higher altitudes. We shall spend our night in this paradise for trekkers; Lukla. Today you can enjoy the remaining day at Lukla, which has almost all the facilities and are relatively cheaper from other places in this region. You need to contact your airliner office for tomorrowโ€™s departure once you reach Lukla. Stay overnight at Lukla.

      If the weather is on our favors we will get an early morning flight back to Kathmandu which takes about 35min. Today we shall start early for Kathmandu as the flight starts early to avoid the disturbances due to the weather. In this short and scenic flight, we shall have the breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys and hills, serpentine shaped rivers and terraced settlements in the bird-eye perspective. The beauty of this amazing landscape never fails to amuse the onlookers. After we land in the airport, you are transferred to the respective hotel of your stay. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.

      Today is a free day to rest and relax or shopping or do more sightseeing around the city. In the afternoon you may explore the cobbled streets of Thamel, Ason and the classic monuments in the nearby Basantapur Durbar Square. After this you may explore the surrounding areas and go for some souvenir shopping for the near and dear ones back in the native place and then spend rest of the day as you want. After exploring the surrounding, get rest in the hotel and prepare for your onward journey. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

      This is the official end to the marvelous and exciting trek to the elevation lower to the Everest region, less explored and authentic remote landscape in the eastern Nepal. Now itโ€™s time to bid farewell the amazing trekking team which was together for two weeks as officially the trek has come to an end today. You shall be transferred to the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) by a Nepal Trekking Plannerโ€™s representative at least three hours prior to the scheduled time of your flight to your onward destination. We are glad to have trekkers like you and we hope that you have carried with you some wonderful memories of this trek.
