Day 1 Arrival Kathmandu & Transfer To Hotel

Arrival Kathmandu & Transfer To Hotel

This is your arrival day in Nepal. Our representative from Himalayan Recreation Treks will be there to pick you up at the airport. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel in our private vehicle. You’ll have a short briefing session about your upcoming trek once your reach the hotel. After that, you can take a rest comfortably. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Fly To Lukla & Trek To Phakding

Fly To Lukla & Trek To Phakding

Today we’ll have an early morning flight to Lukla of around 40 minutes. Lukla can be considered as the starting point of our trek. After we land in Lukla, we’ll be heading towards Phakding. We’ll kick off your trek as we descend towards Dudhkoshi River. The trial follows the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until we reach Phakding. On our way, we can take a view of Kusum Kangaru, Mt Kwondge & Mt. Khumbila. From here we gradually climb for around 3-4 hours until we reach Phakding. Overnight stay at Hotel in Phakding.
Day 3 Trek To Namche Bazaar (3450M)

We’ll be moving from Phakding to Namche Bazaar today. Namche Bazaar is the biggest sherpa village in Nepal & also the most popular & biggest area in the Everest region. We start our trekking, as we trek along the banks of the Dudhkoshi River & cross the river on a high suspension bridge. On our way, we pass through various waterfalls & forests. We continue our trekking & reach Sagarmatha National Park where we need to go through the entrance station. After going through the entrance station, We then climb upward on a hilly trail & reach Namche bazaar. If the weather is clear then, we may also get to see the first glimpse of Mount Everest, Today Overnight stay at the guesthouse in Namche bazaar.
Day 4 Rest Day (Acclimatization Day) In Namche Bazaar

Rest Day (Acclimatization Day) In Namche Bazaar

As it is recommended by experts to take a rest after trekking for a few days. Today is the day we’ll be taking a much-needed rest. So, today we won’t be making any progress toward our destination. You can just take a rest & relax the whole day if you want to or we can hike up to Sagarmatha national park & enjoy the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde. We can also visit Hillary’s school & monastery today. Being one of the most popular & big towns in the Everest region, Namche Bazaar has a lot to offer as it is home to most of the restaurants, cyber, Atms, café & colorful shops. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.
Day 5 Trek To Thyangboche (3864 M)

We continue our trek today & move toward Thyangboche from Namche Bazaar. We get to see the first view of Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Taboche, Kangtega, and Thamserku as we move up toward Thyangboche. Our trek will be mostly uphill today. Thyangboche is a small beautiful village famous for its Buddhist monastery which is the biggest monastery in Everest Region. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Thyangboche.
Day 6 Trek To Dingboche (4415 M)

We continue our trek as we move toward Dingboche from Thyangboche. Today our trail passes through several abundant forests of rhododendron trees. Following our path we reach Pangboche where a religious place "Pangboche Gompa" exists. On our way to Dingboche, we can enjoy the panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Before reaching Dingboche, we go through the beautiful imja valley & Lobuche River. After trekking for a few more hours, we will finally reach Dingboche. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

Day 8 Trek To Lobuche(4930 M)

Early in the morning, we start our trek to Lobuche. As we trek to higher altitudes, our trek gets a little more challenging than before. As soon as we start our trek today we get to enjoy the great views of the Himalayas. We pass through a small village called Dulgha before reaching Lobuche. We continue to trek along the moraine of Khumbu glacier. There the top of the ridge is filled with prayer flags & stones which are memorial shrines for the climbers who lost their lives on Mount. Everest. We continue our journey & climb forward until we reach the village of Lobuche which is situated at the foot of Giant Lobuche Peak. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Lobuche.
Day 9 Trek To Everest Base Camp (5345 M) Via Gorak Shep & Back To Gorak Shep For Sleep (5184 M)

Today is the day when you’ll have a chance to get closer to your dream Mount. Everest. Our big day kicks off with an initial, relatively easy trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep. But the trek from Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp will be much harder than the trek to had done before. We walk along the Khumbu glacier & up to the Everest base camp at 5364m. After a tiring long trek you’ll be finally standing at the Base camp of World’s tallest Mountain. Everest Base Camp itself is incredibly stunning & you can also enjoy amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori mountains from there. We’ll spend some time at Everest Base camp & return back to Gorak Shep to spend a night there. Overnight stay at guesthouse in Gorakshep.
Day 10 Trek To Kala Patthar (5545 M) And Trek Down To Pheriche (4371 M)

Trek To Kala Patthar (5545 M) And Trek Down To Pheriche (4371 M)

Today we’ll start our trek early in the morning before dawn so that we won’t miss the first sunrise from the top of the world. We can get a magnificent view of Mt. Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse mountains on our way to Kala Patthar. As Kala Patthar is the highest viewpoint of Mount Everest, once we reach Kala Patthar we’ll be standing face to face with World’s tallest mountain Mount Everest. This is the moment that you’ll cherish for your life as you have a breathtaking view of the top of the world Mount Everest surrounded by other various peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more. After spending some time with the beautiful Himalayas, we’ll head back to Gorak Shep. From gorak shep we’ll descend toward Pheriche in order to spent a comfortable & warmer night there. Overnight stay at guesthouse in Pheriche.

Today is the day we get back to Namche Bazaar. There’ll be lots of ups & downs on our trail today. We’ll pass through Pangboche & Tengboche before reaching Namche bazaar. We walk through a hillside filled with rhododendron trees & we rapidly descend through a pine forest. On the way again we can enjoy the views of various peaks. As we walk down the trail, the trail descends straight up towards pungki thanka & we walk through another forest before reaching Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche bazaar.
Day 12 Trek To Lukla(2900 M)

Trek To Lukla(2900 M)

This is the last day of our trek. Today we’ll descend toward Lukla which was also the starting point of our trek. We’ll pass by several monasteries, forests & villages before reaching Lukla. After trekking for a few hours we’ll finally reach Lukla. You can take a rest & enjoy the view of the breathtaking Himalayas, villages & landscapes for the last time after reaching Lukla. Overnight stay at Guesthouse in Lukla.
Day 13 Fly To Kathmandu (Trek Ends)

Fly To Kathmandu (Trek Ends)

Today we will head back to Kathmandu after our long journey to the Himalayas. We’ll catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu you can take a rest, go shopping or if you want to explore other different areas of Kathmandu, you can do that too. There will be a farewell dinner for you tonight organized by Himalayan Recreation Treks. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
