  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive At Kathmandu And Transfer To The Hotel

      Day 1: Arrive At Kathmandu And Transfer To The Hotel

      Upon your arrival time, a representative from Nepal Trekking Routes will reach Kathmandu International Airport [TIA] to welcome and receive you. You will then be escorted to your hotel where you can refresh and relax. Overnight in Kathmandu.


  • Day 2 Day 2: City Sightseeing And Trek Preparation

      Day 2: City Sightseeing And Trek Preparation

      After enjoying morning breakfast, you will be picked by your guide from the hotel and take around Kathmandu for sightseeing. You will visit world heritage monuments such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swoyambunat and Bouddhanath. In the evening, our trekking guide will conduct a briefing about the trekking program before dinner. Overnight at Kathmandu.(tour cost is USD 25 Perperson )


  • Day 3 Day 3: Kathmandu To Phakding Via Lukla Flight (2,652M) 3 Hrs

      Day 3: Kathmandu To Phakding Via Lukla Flight (2,652M) 3 Hrs

      Wake up early today to catch a mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to Mt. Everest. Unload your rucksacks and star trekking towards Phakding. Enroute you will pass through pine and oak forests with occasional chirping sound of birds. Overnight in Phakding. 


  • Day 4 Day 4: Phakding To Namche Bazaar (3,440M) 5 - 6 Hrs

      Day 4: Phakding To Namche Bazaar (3,440M) 5 - 6 Hrs

      Have a warm breakfast and take in the crispy air. The trail leaving Phakding parallels the Dudkhosi River alongside the forested hills. Crossing of the suspension bridge over the confluence of Bhotekoshi and Dudhkoshi allows for a first glimpse of Everest and other peaks. The last segment is fairly uphill trek till you reach Namche Bazar.  Overnight in Namche Bazaar. 



  • Day 5 Day 5: Namche Bazaar: Rest Day

      Day 5: Namche Bazaar: Rest Day

      Today is an acclimatization day. You will spend exploring and learning about the sights and sounds of Namche Bazaar. Or alternatively you can hike up to Everest View Hotel, one of worldโ€™s highest hotels to capture an amazing panorama of Mahalangur Himalayan ranges including Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Choaltse and so forth. Afterwards return to Namche and spend evening in cozy Namche cafes or pubs. Overnight in Namche. 


  • Day 6 Day 6: Namche To Tengboche (3,870M): 5 - 6 Hrs

      As the dawn breaks, you carry rucksack and march down the trail ahead. The section between Namche and Tengboche is fairly easy as you walk into serene forests of oaks, pines and magnolia.  Tengboche Monastery is one of the most sacred Himalayan monastery built by the Sherpa community some 300 years ago. The monastery is in a vantage position affording a stunning view of Mt. Ama Dablam. Overnight in Tengboche. 


  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek To Chhukung

      Day 7: Trek To Chhukung

      The trail from Tengboche first goes downhill past quiet forests. As you continue to walk further, the vegetation changes as trees give way to shrubs and rocky landscape with occasional walled houses. Chhukung . 


  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek To Island Peak Base Camp Via Chukhung [4750M]

      Today, we have an easy walk for about 5 hours, climbing up gradually to the small settlement of Chukhung. Along the way we have great views of Island Peak and the challenge that awaits us.The trail crosses the river and follows the valley for approx 3 hours, passing beneath the magnificent south face of Lhotse. Base camp is by the side of the Imja glacier, below steep grassy slopes which mark the start of the climb on Island Peak.

      Day 9: Trek To High Camp And Ascent Of Island (6173 M)

      We ascend a little further to high camp. Crossing the gully above the camp the trail makes a climb for another hour to a narrow ridge, leading on to the glacier. Here it is time to rope-up and put on our crampons as the most interesting part of the climb begins with the glacier crossing. This is followed by the steep snow slope that leads onto the summit ridge. This ridge is wonderfully airy and on reaching the summit we have stunning close-up views of the south face of Lhotse looming over us whilst in the other direction, there are more dramatic mountain views. We descend along the same route, down to base camp.


  • Day 10 Day 10: Trek Back To Dingboche

      Day 10: Trek Back To Dingboche

      After summit you trek back to Island Peak base camp and collect your thing continue to trek to 

      Retrace your step back to Dingboche. This is an easy walk, filled with ups and downs. Overnight in Dingboche. 

  • Day 11 Day 11: Dingboche To Lobuche: 5-6 Hrs

      Day 11: Dingboche To Lobuche: 5-6 Hrs

      Hours of walking: 5.

      Difficluty: moderate to difficult.

      Elevation reached: 4940m/16207ft.

      Terrain: Some steep inclines and rocky tracks where you will need to scramble for a short time.

      Views on offer: The Khumbu Icefall and Pumori amongst other beautiful Himalayan mountains.

      Highlights: Reaching the top of a steep incline for breathtaking panoramic views amongst Buddhist chortens.

      Whatโ€™s to see: Memorial sight for people who sadly lost their lives attempting to summit Everest, traditional Sherpa houses.

      Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Lobuche To Gorekshep And Everest Base Camp

      Day 12: Lobuche To Gorekshep And Everest Base Camp

      Hours of walking: 8.

      Difficulty: Difficult/strenuous.

      Elevation reached: 5300m/17388ft at Base Camp and 5170m/16962ft at Gorak Shep.

      Terrain: Uneven, ridge tracks, rocky, uphill and flat trails.

      Views on offer: Too many to mention! You will be surrounded by an icy wonderland, get your cameras at the ready!

      Highlights: Congratulations, you made it! You reached the base camp to the highest mountain in the world.

      Whatโ€™s to see: You may see a group of mountaineers preparing to attempt an Everest summit. Sunset views from your Gorak Shep teahouse.

      Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Gorekshep To Pheriche

      Gorekshep to Pheriche Via Kalapatthar (4280 m)

      Hours of walking: 7.

      Difficulty: Strenuous.

      Elevation reached: 5545m/18192ft at Kala Patthar, 4270m/14009ft at Pheriche.

      Terrain: Steep, rocky climb to Kala Patthar and a gentle descent over rocky and some well defined paths to Pheriche.

      Views on offer: Everest and the surrounding Himalayas.

      Highlights: The most spectacular, panoramic views from the top of Kala Patthar.

      Whatโ€™s to see: Sunrise from 5545m amidst a mountain wonderland, simply amazing.

      Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

  • Day 14 Day 14: Pheriche To Namche

      Pheriche to Namche (3,570m)

      Hours of Walking: 7.

      Difficulty: Easy to difficult.

      Elevation reached: 3440m/11286ft.

      Terrain: Steep descents, stone steps, rocky trails and grassland

      Views on offer: The River Valley and snow-capped peaks in the distance.

      Highlights: Returning to this vibrant Sherpa town.

      Whatโ€™s to see: Check out the local markets, bars and restaurants.

      Accommodation: Basic Teahouse.

  • Day 15 Day 15: Trek Back To Lukla

      Hours of walking: 7.

      Difficulty: moderate.

      Elevation reached: 2840m/9318ft.

      Terrain: By the banks of the river, stone steps and some descents and last ascents up to Lukla.

      Views on offer: The glistening river amidst a mountain backdrop.

      Highlights: Last day of walking in the Khumbu region. Well done, you completed your trip!

      Whatโ€™s to see: Thick forests, an array of birds and some final views of the mountains.
