      Upon arrive at Entebbe airport, youโ€™ll be met by your guide/driver and transfer you in a private vehicle to your hotel in Entebbe city (Bestwestern premium hotel/the Boma Hotel), nicely located near Lake Victoria surrounded by Botanical gardens.. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Mabamba Swamp, Shoebill Stork Birding Tour

      To start your shoebill tour, youโ€™ll head towards Mabamba wetland. Youโ€™ll then ride dug-out canoe on an extensive trail penetrating through the grassy swamp in which you expect to spot the elusive shoebill stork and a variety of birds like papyrus goneclock, lap wings, purple heron, rofous bellied heron, African purple hen, hemmerkop, blue breasted bee-eaters and many more. Return back to your lodge.

      In the Afternoon, you may visit the Botanical Gardens (where some scenes of Tarzan movie were shot) to enjoy a leisurely walk and spot common bird species like black headed weavers, waxbills, cuckoos, red-billed fire finch and many more. Youโ€™ll have dinner/overnight while prepare tomorrowโ€™s journey to Murchison falls national park, the largest conservation of Uganda.

      Murchison fallsAfter breakfast early morning start you leave Entebbe and travel to Murchison with a stop for lunch en route and white rhino tracking at ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Youโ€™ll then proceed to the park but first do a hike to the top of Murchison falls, experience the dramatic falls. (This hike is for the physically fit people). After the hike, cross the ferry at paara to northern sector of the park arriving for dinner and overnight. Paara safari lodge or Pakuba safari lodge or Twiga safari lodge

      Early morning guided game drive starts at 06:30am with a ranger to look for wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Rothschildโ€™s giraffe, and antelopes like topi, oribi, eland, bush bucks, water bucks, and Uganda kob. Youโ€™ll return for late breakfast and after lunch explore river Nile on a 3 hours boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls and devilโ€™s cauldron as well as see Nile crocodiles, hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks.

      Note: The road to Kibale forest is scenic but a bit bumpy. After breakfast, visit the rural communities of Mubako who help to support Uganda wildlife conservation through projects like weaving, craft making, cultural dances, and farming. You learn rural culture or participate in food harvesting and preparation. Return early around 10pm and transfer to Kibale which shall take 6-7 hours with en route lunch in Hoima town. Have dinner and overnight at Crater safari lodge or Kibale forest camp or Turacco tree tops

      chimpanzee trekkingYouโ€™ll have breakfast and at 07:00am head to the parkโ€™s visitor center for briefing by guides. Then youโ€™re guided on the search for chimps and when theyโ€™re located, enjoy 1 hour with them. There are other 12 species of primates in Kibale forest such as red Colobus, black and white colobus, blue monkey, grey checked mangabay, Ugandan mangabay

      In the afternoon, youโ€™ll visit Bigodi wetland sanctuary. The local guide takes you on a swamp walk which is ideal to spot a variety of primates, birds, butterflies and plants. You also get fresh air and interact with locals who run the eco-tourism site and also make earn from making crafts. 

  • Day 7 Day 7: Transfer From Kibale To Semulki Valley National Park

      Day 7: Transfer From Kibale To Semulki Valley National Park

      After breakfast leave kibale via Fort Port to Semuliki valley national park an extension of Congo basin forests which protects 55 mammals and 441 birds including central African species. You will arrive at accommodation and have lunch. After lunch take a cultural tour to meet BaTwa elders at Nyondo. This walk introduces you to storytelling, folklore, culture and lifestyles of the forest inhabitants.

      Night game drive is recommended for chances of spotting leopard, galago, bush babies, genet another nocturnal species. Accommodation: Semuliki safari lodge/ Uganda wildlife bandas and campsite/ kirimia guest house 

  • Day 8 Day 8: Hot Springs And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Fort Portal Town

      Day 8: Hot Springs And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Fort Portal Town

      After breakfast, you will go for 30 minutes to 1 hour nature walk to the hot springs and climb tree house aerial views of Semuliki valley. With the help of the guide you can spot primates like red tailed monkey, grey checked mangabay and many birds.

      Youโ€™ll return from the forest around mid-day have lunch and transfer to Fort Portal town.

      Upon arrival, you take a hike to the Ndali crater lakes, where youโ€™ll get a view of 52 crater lakes and hollows. Afterwards you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Accommodation: Twins lake safari lodge/Mweya safari lodge or Park view safari lodge

      Wildlife safari in queen Elizabeth National Park

      This morning youโ€™ll have some great game viewing with a ranger starting at 06:30am. Youโ€™re likely to see herds of elephants, pride of lions, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffe, Uganda kob, topi, eland and lots of savannah birds. Return for late breakfast and relaxing for lunch. Youโ€™ll have a boat cruise on kazinga channel in the afternoon to look for crocodiles, hippos, water birds, buffaloes, elephants, water bucks. Sunsets will make a good ending of the day have diner and overnight at your lodge. 

  • Day 10 Day 11: Transfer To Bwindi Via Ishasha, The Only Place In Uganda To See Tree Climbing Lions.

      Day 11: Transfer To Bwindi Via Ishasha, The Only Place In Uganda To See Tree Climbing Lions.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll transfer along a bumpy road up to Buhoma, the headquarters of Bwindi. Once you reach Ishasha wilderness, you stop to search for tree climbing lions, sometimes theyโ€™re seen near the road resting in fig trees or you may have to drive off a bit in the bush. Youโ€™ll continue via Butogota trading center to your lodge in Buhoma for diner an overnight.

      Note: When you reach early afternoon, you can check with the park offices for a self guided nature walk along Munyaga River to see primates, birds and also get to familiarize yourself with the forest that you must trek through tomorrow. Accommodation suggested: Mahogany springs or Four gorillas lodge or Gorilla safari lodge

      Bwindi gorilla trekking

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll take a short walk to the briefing center. the guides teaches you gorilla rules and assures you to be confident no matter the hours it takes to trek, search and locate a gorilla family. You have 1 hour with gorillas, which is enough to take photos and learn about their life. Return for lunch and take a village walk.

      After breakfast, you go for a nature walk to see waterfalls in the middle of Bwindi rainforest. Admire nature, butterflies, plants, birds, primates. After lunch transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the 2nd deepest lake in Africa notable for beautiful islands. Upon arrival, you will check in your room and take a boat cruise to explore some of the 19 islands including the historical punishment island. Dinner and overnight at Birds nest Bunyonyi or Bunyonyi eco resort

  • Day 13 Day 14: Transfer To Lake Mburo

      After breakfast depart Lake Bunyonyi driving for about 7-8 hours to Lake Mburo national park. On the way, you will make a befit stopover at great lakes museum after Kabale town. From there you stop again in Mbarara town for lunch and later continue to your lodge in Mburo national park. Mihingo lodge or Rwakobo rock

  • Day 14 Day 15: Transfer Back To Kampala

      Day 15: Transfer Back To Kampala

      Have breakfast and take a nature walk on foot with ranger to the salt rocks where animals can be spotted including impalas, zebras, topi, warthogs, and eland. Retreat from there and transfer to Kampala passing via Masaka at the equator monument. When you reach kampala, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe or your place of stay.
