  • Day 2 Delhi Sightseeingโ€™S

      Delhi Sightseeingโ€™S

      Today you will get to know the capital of India with your tour guide. Its past history has a strong influence on culture as well as architecture. You drive through Old Delhi and to the Jama Masjid Mosque. There you will change to another vehicle and an exciting rickshaw ride awaits you in the busy streets of the Chandni Chowks district. We continue to the tomb of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and the tomb of the Mughal ruler Humayun. In New Delhi, explore the India Gate Triumphal Arch, the Presidential Residence, the Parliament Building. A spiritual stop is the Sikh Temple Gurudwara (Bangla Sahib Gurudwara), the largest Sikh temple in Delhi. Feel the sacred atmosphere of the place. Overnight stay in hotel. 

  • Day 3 Delhi - Agra

      In the morning you drive to Agra , upon arrival check into the pre booked hotel. AGRA is the city of the inimitable Taj Mahal. The story of Agra begins much earlier than the Taj, it finds mention in the Mahabharata when it was called the Agrabana or paradise. It was the Mughals who finally nurtured Agra with the finest monuments that the architects could design: The Taj Mahal of Shah Jahan and Agra Fort of Akbar are but few of the many that spangle the city, each of which stands in mute testimony to the cityโ€™s grandeur over the ages. 

      In afternoon you will visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later , drive to the other side of the Yamuna River to Methab Bagh Garden. Here you have a completely different perspective of the Taj Mahal. Let the view blow your mind. Overnight stay in hotel. 



  • Day 4 In Agra

      Early in the morning you visit the 7th wonder of the world, the world-famous, fairy-tale tomb Taj Mahal, whose silhouette is considered a symbol for all of India. The tomb was built by Shah Jahan around 1643 for his beloved wife Mumtaz. Afterwards you will visit the Agra Fort, an impressive palace complex from the time of the Mughal emperors. Then explore the Marble Bazaar and stroll around in local markets.Overnight stay in hotel.

      Your destination today is Ranthambore. India is not only known for its beautiful castles and ornate palaces, but also for its wildlife. In Ranthambore, youโ€™ll explore the famous Ranthambore National Park โ€“ a former hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, now a major wildlife tourist attraction in Northern India. The park is famous for its tigers and is one of the best places to spot these big cats in its natural habitat. In the evening you will have an introductory discussion with a naturalist about the Ranthambore Tigers. Overnight stay in hotel.

      Set off early in the morning for a new experience! You can also go hunting in the former hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Jaipur - but only with a camera. In addition to the tiger, the area is home to desert cats, striped hyenas, jackals, bears, antelopes and numerous species of birds, some of which you will probably see. Experience Indiaโ€™s unique wildlife in an intensive way during a jungle safari in open trucks (canters). Afterwards you go back to the hotel where you can rest. Later in the afternoon, a second safari will give you another opportunity to see the tiger.Overnight stay in hotel.

      Continue to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, the center of what many visitors consider to be the most beautiful and richest state in India. The area was also the stronghold of a clan of rulers, the Kachhwaha, who left behind three large hill forts and a number of fantastic palaces. The city was founded around 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II according to a very strict plan and was given the typical pink paint when Prince Albert visited around 1876.       After breakfast we set off to visit Amber Fort. You can go to the fort by jeep. It is one of the most beautiful palaces in Rajasthan. The name comes from the goddess of fertility Amba Mata, the revered Mother Earth. Afterwards, you will visit Jantar Mantar, the largest stone observatory on earth, and the magnificent city palace, which is still inhabited by the descendants of the former Raja. You will make a photo stop at the famous Hawa Mahal, the โ€œPalace of the Windsโ€. The facade with countless windows and bay windows was once built to enable the ladies-in-waiting to follow the goings-on on the street unseen. The day ends with the bazaars - a unique experience not to be missed! Overnight stay in hotel.

      March 13th is Holi, the โ€œFestival of Colorsโ€, the Indian spring festival. It is celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Phalguna (February/March). It is a national holiday known as Holi in northern India and by various names in other parts of the country. Celebrate the โ€œFestival of Colorsโ€ in Jaipur. We have arranged a place for you to enjoy this festival. Color pigments, drinks, snacks and lunch are available free of charge. Overnight stay in hotel. 

  • Day 10 Nagaur

      Your destination today is Nagaur, a small village in the middle of the Thar Desert. In February there is a large camel market here. The old fort has been converted into a beautiful hotel, a unique opportunity to experience life in the desert. Enjoy an exciting village visit. Overnight stay in hotel.

      Continue through the Thar Desert to Jaisalmer. The city was named after Maharaja Jaisal Singh, a Rajput king (Bhatii Rajput), who founded it in 1156. "Jaisalmer" means "the mountain castle of Jaisal". Jaisalmer is sometimes called the "Golden City of India" because of the golden color of the sandstone buildings. The great caravans that connected the East and West passed through the city. Overnight stay in hotel.

      After a hearty breakfast, visit the Jaisalmer Fortress, which became wealthy and important as a resting place for caravans. A sunset in Jaisalmer to end the day - a unique experience! Overnight stay in hotel.

      Today you drive south to the imperial city of Jodhpur. The city is also called โ€œthe blue cityโ€. It was founded in 1459 and from the Mehrangarh Fort, which you will visit, we look out over the indigo-colored sea of houses. Also worth seeing are the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the white marble Chattri of Jaswant Singh II. A stroll through the colorful vegetable market creates opportunities to meet people from rural India. Overnight stay in hotel

  • Day 14 Udaipur

      In the morning you will drive to Udaipur and on the way you will stop at Ranakpur, home to the greatest Jain temples in India. The white temple, supported by its beautifully decorated columns, is a sight to see. Later you continue to Udaipur, โ€œthe city of lakesโ€. Overnight stay in hotel.

      Today you will discover the "Venice of the East". Here you will see the city palace, built in 1725, which impresses with its decorations with glittering mirrors and countless ornaments. Afterwards you will explore the Jagdish Temple from 1651, dedicated to the god Vishnu It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh. Next you will visit the Sahelion Ki-Bari, the "Garden of Women". At sunset you will enjoy a boat trip on the beautiful Lake Pichola. If you have an adventurous soul, we will organize it for you would like a nice bike ride through the rural area of Udaipur (not included in the price).Overnight stay in hotel.
