  • Day 1 Arrival El Calafate

      Arrival El Calafate

      We welcome you at El Calafate Airport then we transfer to the hotel for the check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to visit the city on our own.

      Lodging in El Calafate - Double or Single Base 

      Meals: NULL

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Nativo Experience, Lakes and Caverns 

      It is an excursion in 4ร—4 along the coast of Lake Argentino. Ideal for the day of arrival or departure, it has an anthropological approach, making a tour at the time about the passing of man in these lands, rediscovering the stories of the first expeditions and daring that ventured into the unknown.

      Between the cliffs and overlooking the Andes Mountains, the excursion focuses on the first contacts of those expeditionaries with the natives, and then enter the Tehuelche world.

      On the banks of the lake are the caves where thousands of years ago that culture left its marks on the rock and that today induce us to its interpretation. Finally, the excursion culminates in another cave where lunch or dinner is included that will transport us to those remote years.

  • Day 2 Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      Perito Moreno Glacier With Safari Nautico Boat Trip

      We dedicate this day to one of the Worldโ€™s Natural Wonder: the Moreno glacier. This ice field- type glacier flows down from the Patagonian Icefield, a big sheet of ice that with its 22.000 square kilometers is the third largest glacier area in the world, after Antarctica (14 M sq km) and Greenland (1 M sq km). Because unusual favorable local conditions, this glacier is the only one in the world that shows a closure and rupture process. The road leads to the very front of the glacier, which will be only meters away from your eyes. The roar of the chunks of ice falling inside the glacier or from the glacier into the lake, the frequent collapse of the front seracs into the turquoise water, makes out of this day a very special and unique experience.

      Then we wil go up to โ€œBajo de las Sombrasโ€ from where, you will board the catamaran boat to navigate the Lago Rico where your will be able to appreciate the amazing ice wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and its icebergs. Then we go back to our accommodation in El Calafate.

  • Day 3 El Calafate
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      El Calafate

      After breakfast the rest of the day is at leisure to visit the town on our own or to do any of the optional excursions.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: Full Day Ranch Nibepo Aike with Lunch 

      Opportunity to spend the day at the ranch which allows to know the history of the estancia, admire the gaucho skills and demonstration of shearing. Before lunch, a walk or horseback ride to the narrows where the Roca Lake drains into the Argentino Lake, culminating the program with the renowned lamb roast.

      Reception with hot drinks and fried cakes/homemade puddings, walk around the old historic quarter, milking and herding sheep, shearing demonstration and rein testing.

      Lunch: Roast Lamb with salads, dessert and a drink.

      Transfers from / to El Calafate

  • Day 4 El Calafate - El Chalten - Trek Mount Fitz Roy

      El Calafate - El Chalten - Trek Mount Fitz Roy

      After breakfast the bus will pick us up at the hotel for the 220 km long drive to El Chaltรฉn, a small and picturesque village at the foot of Fitz Roy & Cerro Torre massif. We make a stop half way to enjoy local pastries and hot coffee. Then we transfer to El Pilar where the, 1 hour, trek to the viewpoint of the Glaciar Piedras Blancas, begins. From there, we continue until the Rรญo Blanco where the ascent to Laguna de los Tres begins, this ascent will take approximately 2 hours. Once there we can enjoy, a more than deserved, rest admiring one of the most beautiful views. Once we have rested, we will begin to descend, 2 hours later we will arrive at the Rรญo Blanco. From there we have only 15 minutes to walk that will take us to our camping area. We will spend the night in Camp Poincenot area, Fitz Roy base. The camp is located in a wild area without services. It has tents for 2 people with sleeping bag and insulation mat; and a dining dome with bench and crockery.

  • Day 5 Trek Mount Torre
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Trek Mount Torre

      After breakfast, we start our trek through the path of the Lagunas Madre e Hija, to arrive at Laguna Torre near noon. There we will can appreciate, if the clouds allow us, the legendary Cerro Torre with its needles Eger and Stanghard. Finally we arrive at El Chaltรฉn about at 5:00 pm (20 km approx.)

  • Day 6 El Chalten
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      El Chalten

      After breakfast the rest of the morning is at leisure to do any of the optional excursions at  El Chalten: Lago del Desierto or any other trek.

      Optional Excursion Recommended: One Shot Vespignani Glacier - Lago del Desierto 

      We start from our meeting point in El Chaltรฉn, traveling the 37 km that separate us from Lago del Desierto along a beautiful gravel road, following the Rรญo de las Vueltas. During the tour, important information about the area is transmitted and descents are made at panoramic points.

      Then, from the Punta Sur pier, we sail for about 30 minutes, sighting the Huemul and Crestรณn glaciers to disembark in the sector of the Great Vespignani Glacier, which is located in the central area of โ€‹โ€‹the lake. Once we arrive we have 2 hours to choose to walk all or any of the THREE trails proposed for this product, perfectly signposted in the area depending on the difficulty and effort they wish to make. After a farewell chocolate we embarked back to arrive at the Punta Sur pier. From there the bus takes us to El Chaltรฉn where our adventure ends.
