Day 1: Cape Coast

Stop At: Cape Coast Castle, Cape Coast Ghana
Cape Coast Castle is one of the largest of the castles built by European powers in today Ghana. It began as a trade lodge constructed by the Portuguese in 1555 on a part of the Gold Coast, which later became known as the Cape Coast. In 1653, following Swedenโ€™s conquest of the Cape Coast, the Swedish Africa Company constructed a permanent wooden fortress for trade in timber and gold.
It is open to the public and is currently a historical museum with Ghanaian arts and crafts gift shop, and it is the regional headquarters of Ghana Museums and Monuments Board.

Stop At: Elmina Castle, Elmina Ghana
Elmina Castle was established by Portuguese in 1482 as Sรฃo Jorge da Mina (St. George of the Mine) in Elmina, Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast). Elmina and Elmina Castle was the first trading post built on the Gulf of Guinea, so is the oldest European building in existence below the Sahara. It was first established as a trade settlement but later became one of the most important stops on the route of the Atlantic slave trade.
Today Elmina Castle is a popular historical site, and was a major filming location for Werner Herzog's 1987 drama film "Cobra Verde". It is an extremely popular destination for African American tourists seeking to connect with their heritage and a powerful reminder of the history of the slave trade.

Day 2: Cape coast

Stop At: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Ghana
Afafranto Campsite is located 200 meters from the Kakum Visitors Centre. The Afafranto camp site is ideally for visitors wanting an easily accessible forest camping experience. Tourists who want to visit this site must bring along their own tents, mosquito nets and sleeping pads (which we will provide).
There is also a Sun Bird Trail for tourists with a special interest in birds now have a new trail.

Day 3: Northern Region

Stop At: Mole National Park, Larabanga Ghana
The Mole National Park is one of Ghanaโ€™s largest wildlife Park which serve as a habitat to countless and multiple animals and plant types including elephants, buffalos, and many others.

Stop At: Larabanga Mosque, Larabanga Ghana
it is a small Islamic Mosque which had its foundation naturally built with Itโ€™s style and architecture different from all other mosques in the world making it a leading tourist site in the northern region of Ghana.
the Mystery Stone is another interesting tourist site in the Larabanga township: the Mystery behind the stone is that, the stone always moves back to its original resting place when it is been moved from its original place.

Day 4: Northern Region

Stop At: Tamale-northern Region, 3rd Avenue, Ghana
We will get the opportunity to interact with the locals and take a walk through the city of Tamale

Day 5: Ashanti Region

We will explore the famous city Kumasi by visiting;

Day 6: Volta Region

Stop At: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary And Cultural Village, Tafi Atome Ghana
It is a forest and a habitat to over 700 Sacred Mona Monkeys population that live in a protection virgin forest which is in a โ€˜Uโ€™ shape form. Travelers get to learn about the monkeys and also feed them. It is an interesting town observing the co-habitation of people and monkeys

Day 7: Greater Accra Region

Stop At: Afadjato (Mount Afadjato), Ghana
tโ€™s a beautiful tourist site in the Volta Region and the highest mountain in Ghana, welcoming over thousands of visitors around the world. It takes 1-2 hours to climb the mountain but also depends on the individual. We will go mountain climbing and enjoy the view of nature from the mountain top.

Stop At: Wli Waterfalls, Hohoe Ghana
The Wli Falls is known to be the longest/highest water fall in West Africa. The fall is locally known as Agumatsa waterfalls, which simply means โ€œAllow Me to Flowโ€.it is located approximately 280km from the capital city of Ghana, Accra.
Individuals who would like to swim in the fall can do so

Day 8: Greater Accra Region

Stop At: W.E.B. DuBois Center, 1 Circular Road, Cantonments just few meters from the US Embassy and close to Ghana International School, Accra Ghana
The center is named after William Edward Burghardt Du Bois who was an African-American civil rights activist and later became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He is often known as the โ€˜Father of Pan-Africanismโ€™. The centre is where he once lived with his wife and where they are now buried. It houses his personal library, a small museum with a handful of personal effects such as his graduation robes. The mausoleum is surrounded by Asante stools, a seminar room, a restaurant, a gallery, an amphitheater and a research centre for Pan-African history and culture

Pass By: Center for National Culture, 28th February Rd Near Nkrumah Memorial Park & Mausoleum, Accra Ghana
The Centre for National Culture crafts market can also be simply known as the Arts Center. There are so many different stalls selling different varieties of Ghanaian inspired arts and crafts and this is one of the cool places to shop in Accra. There is so much to see and buy from woven Kente cloth, wooden sculptures to earrings and other fashion accessories matched with the latest in African Attire fashion from all over Ghana.


Stop At: Independence Square, Accra Ghana
Kwame Nkrumah commissioned the Independence Square, also known as Black Star Square, to honour the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. Independence Square is a vast, empty expanse of concrete overlooked by spectator stands which can seat about 30,000 people. The Independence Arch was an inspiration to other African countries vying for independence and the Flame of African Liberation. The roundabout before the square contains in the center, the Black Star Gate also known as the Black Star Monument which was built in 1961.
The vast area, built under Kwame Nkrumah, is designed for huge events and military marches and commercial events such as concerts and fashion shows, which take place throughout the year.

Stop At: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, High St., Accra Ghana
Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum is also known as the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. It is the last resting place of the first President of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. This museum is dedicated to him to honour his dedication in liberating Ghana, formally known as Gold Coast, from colonial rule.
The Museum houses the personal effects and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and pictures showing his life history with some of the most famous people of his time.
