Flights

The domestic regular flight to and from Lukla is included in the offers including 15 kg baggage with departure Tax (KTM-LUKLA-KTM) The ground transfer to Ramechap is excluded and clients has to pay 2000/ Rupees per person.

Accommodation

14-Night Mountain Accommodation: We seek to offer our clients comfortable and clean private accommodations. We always make sure that you can sleep well. We always provide you the best available lodge/tea-house during the trek. Most of the nights, there will be a warm dining room with comfortable chairs. Normally, you will have electric throughout the trip, but there may be a few nights where there is no running hot shower and electricity. A bucket of hot water and charging will be offered for an additional cost. No meals Included. Hotel in Kathmandu- Kathmandu Hotel is a clean and comfortable hotel in a quiet location beside Thame. There is 24 hrs hot and cold shower with TV. Telephone in the room and private balcony. Kathmandu we provide you with a 2/3 star category hotel. However, if you would like to upgrade the hotel in Kathmandu, please let us know. We will upgrade the hotel for an additional cost. 2-Night Kathmandu Hotel with breakfast included.

      Catch the morning mountain flight to Lukla (2,840 m), enjoying stunning views of the Himalayas. Flying like a bird! Meet the Sherpa guide and begin the 4hrs trek to Phakding. Overnight at Local Guesthouse. Altitude-200 meters descending.

      We follow the Dudh Kosi, ascending through Himalayan pine and Doedar cedar forests, to the celebrated village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche is a historic trading post where Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchange salt, dried meat and textiles. Besides being a superb place to shop for traditional crafts, Namche remains the central trading post in the Khumbu, attracting Himalayan and lowland merchants. You will spend two days in Namche for acclimatization, visit local markets and spend time with your team. On the hike we capture our first glimpses of Everest and neighboring peaks.

      This is a day for acclimatization; we will hike to Syangboche Airport (3,700 m), the supposed to the highest airport in the world. Then continue walking to Khumjung, visit Yeti Skul at the Monastery andcontinue to Everest View Hotel for great panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Amadablam, Tawache etc. On the way back visit Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery.

      The flat and easy trail leads towards the view of Mt. Everest, then descends deep into the Dudh Kosi Valley at Pungki Thanka; from here it ascends the right flank of the Dudh Kosi valley to Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m). It is the spiritual center of the Khumbu; the climb is long, but more than adequately compensated by views of Mt. Amadablam and on a clear day, views of Mt. Everest and its surrounding peaks

Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse & other peaks; the route continues through pastures to Dingboche, known as the โ€˜summer valleyโ€™

      Trek along a broad valley floor to Dughla, passing the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche (4240 m), staffed by western volunteer doctors and supported by the Himalayan Rescue Association which offers treatment and consultation to trekkers. Continue up the valley, gaining altitude. Come out of the valley to descend to the yak pastures of Lobuche.

      After a short climb through meadows, look down on the Khumbu Glacier. Straight ahead is Kalapattar โ€“ the best vantage point to view the entire south face of Mt. Everest and the surrounding peaks. After couple of hours we will get at Gorekshep, and continue our journey to Everest Base camp (optional). There is not much elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs and, combined with altitude, this can be a tiring portion- but the journey is worth it. After approximately 3 hrs of hiking you will arrive at Base Camp and enjoy views of the Khumbu Glacier and icefall, where Everest expeditions begin.

      We begin the day by climbing up to Cho la pass crossing Chola and descending to Dragnag. It is a long (14km) and physically chellanging trek but this is the most amazing day of the trip. The top offer the best view of Mt. Everest 8848 m, Lhotse and Makalu in the front and Cho yuo and Pomari on the back ground.

Gokyo village stands by the third lake and Cho-Oyu Mountain as a backdrop sets an amazing spectacular sight at this juncture. After lunch, you may explore around the Lake, Dudh Pokhari.       Gokyo Ri is the highlight of this trip. Early morning, we hike up to the Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak). Climbing to Gokyo Ri is obviously strenuous as it is steep up and takes about 3 to 4 hours to reach the top. But even from the trial scenery of Gokyo village on the edge of third lake overlooked by Cholatse and the broad Ngozumpa Glacier are mind blowing. We feel like we are surrounded by panoramic mountains like Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, K 43, Kangtega, Taboche, Cholatse, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Everest, Changtse, and Pumori. Sight of sunrays kissing the Everest that towers over all surrounding peaks is unlike from Kalapattar (from Kalapattar Nuptse seems taller). Our Gokyo RI visit will be unforgettable life time memories. We trek down to Gokyo and trek down to Dole.

      Descend to Phorste Tenga (3680m/1270ft) and complete steep climb to Mong- la Danda (4,940 m/16,200 ft), again we descend to Kyangjuma (3,550 m/11,645 ft) then easier trail to Namche.
