      Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be met by our representative, who will be waiting for you outside the arrival hall holding a sign with your name, then transfer you to your hotel. Our rep will help you settle in, then the rest of the day is free at your leisure. If your flight lands early, then you could take a first look at the pyramids with an amazing sound and light show, or perhaps head into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show(optional).

      Day 2: Visit The Great Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara

      This morning, your private guide will pick up you for a full day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Start in chronological order, as it were, by visiting the step pyramid of Saqqara; the first capital of ancient Egypt, this is the oldest pyramid in Egypt 4800 B.c, built by King Djoser, before exploring the famous pyramids at Giza.


      Stop for lunch break (optional) then, continue visiting the Giza Plateau to explore the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos and Sphinx; these structures that have stood tall for 4500 years. Discover the beauty of the Sphinx, one of the largest monolith statues in the history of mankind, enjoy the views and take remarkable pictures. Youโ€™ll find your local Egyptology guide a wealth of knowledge and full of enthusiasm about Egyptian history, and their country in general.


      Back to your Hotel in Cairo for overnight.

      Egypt Gift Tours representative will transfer you to Cairo Airport to take your flight to Aswan. Once in Aswan our licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan Airport/Railway station to be transferred by A/C van to your 5 stars Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board. Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric. Proceed to visit the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for dinner, folkloric show, and Overnight in Aswan.


      Note: If your arrival to Aswan is so early, so we will start the tour direct upon arrival since the cruise check-in time at 12:00 and we donโ€™t want our guest to waste their time waiting at the lobby for check-in.

      Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip ( sharing a small group). Arrive around 8 am, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramesses 2nd. and his beloved Queen Nefertari. This amazing site was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded. Back to the Cruise by noon (around 1:00 pm) to have your lunch and sailing heading to Kom Ombo city, where to visit the amazing temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). Also, you will get to visit the Crocodile Museum. Get back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

      After your breakfast, enjoy Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Relax on the deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile river while sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

      Passing through the Esna lock to Luxor; built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, and has the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock carved tombs. To the east stand the temples of Luxor and Karnak. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor, to visit Luxor temple which is in the center of town and is colorfully lit up by night and where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board and belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.

      Breakfast and check out to start your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the new kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. Then to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunchtime in a local restaurant (optional). Then to visit the massive temple of Karnak. It was linked to the town of Luxor by a long sphinx lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much photographed Hypo-style Hall has an impressive 134 towering columns, each is carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions cover the walls.


      Then, to Luxor Airport to take your evening flight back to Cairo, met and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

      Have lunch at a local restaurant (optional) before exploring some of the most famous churches in Cairo. Travel to the Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr. Both these churches were built into the walls of the Babylon Fortress and their remains could be Cairoโ€™s oldest structures. Visit the Church of St Sergius next before driving back to your hotel.

      Cairoโ€™s Khan al-Khalili Bazaar is an essential Egyptian experience โ€“ lose yourself in the colors and aromas of this fascinating marketplace or have a chance to visit the famous Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha At Salah Al Din Citadel.
