      Pm Valley of the Moon + Death Valley

      In the afternoon, departure to visit an area located 19 km from San Pedro, in the Cordillera de la Sal, where the Valley of the Moon is located, declared a sanctuary of nature and Natural Monument, protected by the uniqueness of its beauty landscape. It is formed by a depression surrounded by small hills with impressive sharp ridges. The tour is an imaginary trip to landscapes that do not correspond to our world, but only to other planets.

      This is how we can appreciate the Dinosaur Valley, the Death Valley, where you get a spectacular view of the surroundings. We continue en route to the Valley of the Moon, where we will find geological formations that are the result of successive folding of the earthโ€™s crust. Towards the sunset, the appearance of a daring palette of gold and red painter that shake the soul and the sensibilities of the visitor.

      Departure for a tour Altiplanic Lagoons and Salar de Atacama.

      The Atacama, the largest salt flat in Chile, has one of the most important flamingo reserves in the country, the Los Flamencos National Reserve. We will enter a small path to Laguna Chaxa, to recognize different species of flamingos in the area. Miscanti and Miรฑiques located at 4,220 meters. They are also part of the National Reserve and are managed by the indigenous community of Socaire. The eruption of the Miรฑiques volcano that occurred 1 million years ago caused the stagnation of the waters that used to drain to the Salar, giving rise to these two highland lagoons of blue waters and white banks. On the way back, Socaire, a town of pre-Columbian origin, today recognized for its typical Atacamean cuisine.

      Pick up at your hotel in San Pedro and transfer to Hito Cajรณn, after immigration, transfer and continuation procedures to Laguna Verde, at the foot of the Llicancahur Volcano. Continue to the Dalรญ Valley towards the Termas de Polques, the Geysers of the Sun of Tomorrow. Visit the Laguna Colorada, the habitat of the famous flamingos James, unique of its kind in the world, and to see the change of tones in the Laguna until it reaches its red color, where its name comes from. Then continue to Colchani through San Cristobal and the town of Uyuni. Accommodation at Hotel Palacio de Sal or Luna Salada. Picnic lunch / Dinner at the hotel.

      Breakfast. We will cross the salt flat, stopping to see the eyes of water and the form of salt extraction. Arrival on Incahuasi Island, inhabited by giant cacti. Walk to the top where you will have a 360-degree view of the salt flat. Time to enjoy the Salar. At the end of the afternoon we will travel south towards the Chiguana salt flats and the Ollague volcano viewpoint, the Altoandinas lagoons (Caรฑapa, Hedionda, Chiar Khota, Ramaditas) until arriving at Ojo de Perdiz. Accommodation at the Tayka Desert Hotel. Picnic lunch / Dinner at the hotel.

      Breakfast. Travel through the desert of Sud Lipez. On the way, we will have time to enjoy a bath in the Polques hot springs. After lunch, continue to Hito Cajรณn. After the immigration process, continue to San Pedro de Atacama. Transfer to your hotel. Country lunch

      Departure during the morning from the hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, to head towards the Geysers del Tatio, geothermal center with geysers that are only observed very early in the morning. After seeing this beautiful show, in a majestic natural environment, we will have breakfast. On the return, the sighting of the majesty of the Andes Mountains whose summits seem within reach of our hands. In the advance, we find Machuca, a small settlement of llama shepherds. The little town is adorned with adobe houses and thatched roofs. A greenish slap gives it a special charm. Return to San Pedro de Atacama.

      The rest of the afternoon free, to tour the town.
