  • Day 1 Arrival In Kathmandu

      As you arrive at the airport, one of our friendly Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representatives will be waiting for you with a sign with your name. You will then be quickly dropped off at your hotel. Along the way, youโ€™ll see iconic landmarks such as the Open Cremation Place (Pashupatinath Temple), the Royal Palace Museum (Narayanhity), and the tranquil Garden of Dreams, all before arriving in Thamel.


      Your hotel, conveniently located in downtown, puts you right in the heart of the tourist district. Once settled, our representative will be available to answer any questions and go over your travel plans. Donโ€™t worry, youโ€™ll have plenty of time to explore Thamelโ€™s vibrant streets at your leisure.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing In Kathmandu

      After breakfast, our friendly tour guide and driver will transport you in a comfortable vehicle. Weโ€™ll begin our journey by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its intricately carved temples and historic buildings that provide a glimpse into ancient Kathmandu. Next, weโ€™ll travel to Swyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, to enjoy panoramic views of Kathmandu.


      Following that, we will go to Pashupatinath Temple, one of Southeast Asiaโ€™s most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. Youโ€™ll see the traditional Hindu cremation ceremony and explore the peaceful surroundings. We can also visit the nearby Guweyswori Temple, another important pilgrimage site. Our final stop will be at Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back to 600 A.D. It is a unique Buddhist symbol that provides a peaceful setting for reflection. Following our sightseeing excursion, you can return to your hotel to unwind.

      Good morning! Our jeep will pick you up from your hotel bright and early. The drive from Kathmandu to Phaplu takes about 8 to 9 hours, covering approximately 185 km to the east. Itโ€™s quite a journey, so just sit back, relax, and take in the scenic views along the way.

  • Day 4 Phaplu To Nunthala (2200M), (7-Hour Hike)

      Today marks the beginning of our trek to Nunthala. Our first stop is Takshindo Gompa, where weโ€™ll explore the monastery and an ancient cheese factory. Afterward, weโ€™ll descend to reach Nunthala.

  • Day 5 Nunthala To Kharikhola/Bupsa (2350M), (6-Hour Trek)

      As you continue your trek, youโ€™ll have a leisurely descent towards the Dudh Koshi River. Youโ€™ll pass through a variety of agricultural fields as well as charming Sherpa and Rai villages. After that, youโ€™ll gradually ascend to Kharikhola (2050m) via Juving (1680m). Bupsa is only a 45-minute walk away from Kharikhola. Along the way, youโ€™ll pass an ancient Buddhist monastery, which is now in ruins.

  • Day 6 Khari Khola/Bupsa To Surke (2400M), (5-6-Hour Hike)

      The day begins with a hike up to Khari La Pass (2880m). Along the way, youโ€™ll walk through lush rhododendron and oak forests, passing a charming Sherpa village. From here, enjoy stunning views of Numbu, Cho-Oyu, Gyangchung Kang, and Thamserku mountains. Then, as you descend towards Chaubar village, youโ€™ll arrive at Puiyan. Finally, in the evening, youโ€™ll reach Surke, a picturesque Sherpa village nestled at the foot of Lukla.

      In the beginning of the trek, youโ€™ll gradually climb up to Chipling, which is a meeting point between Jiri and Lukla. From there, the path widens and gets busier. As you continue, the trail becomes mostly level, with a slight downhill and then an uphill stretch to Phakding.

      Today, weโ€™re heading to Namche Bazaar, also known as the Sherpa Capital. Weโ€™ll start from Phakding and reach Monjo after about a 3-hour walk, crossing several suspension bridges with stunning views of Mt. Thamserku along the way. As we continue, weโ€™ll enter Sagarmatha National Park, then cross a tall suspension bridge over the Dudh Kosi River until we finally arrive at Namche Bazaar, which will take us approximately 2 and a half hours.

  • Day 9 Rest In Namche Bazaar (3440M)

      Rest In Namche Bazaar (3440M)

      Namche Bazaar, often called the Sherpa Capital, is a great place to take it easy and get used to the altitude. Youโ€™ll have time to relax and explore the area. Many trekkers wake up early to catch the stunning sunrise views of Mount Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, and other beautiful peaks. You might even see the mountainsโ€™ shadows on the clouds! Make sure to try the local specialties like salt-butter tea and Champa, a barley drink beloved by the Sherpa people here.

      You will ascend towards the forestโ€™s magnificent mountain ranges, which will smile at you. You continue walking towards the face of the mountain and eventually reach Tengboche.

      From Tengboche, the trail drops down to Dingboche and crosses the Imja River. You will then climb past the Mani Stones to Pangboche at 3860m. Visit the gompa and then resume our climb to Pheriche. At Pheriche, you can find the Pheriche Hospital, which is run by the Himalayan Rescue Association.

      Today is a day for getting used to the altitude. Itโ€™s important to take it easy as we adjust to the higher elevation. Youโ€™re welcome to explore the surroundings at your own pace.

      Enjoy the panoramic views of mountains such as Tawache and AmaDablam. To the north, there is Pokalde, Kongma-Tse, and the Great Wall of Nuptse. Nearly after two hours of walking, you will merge with the walking path near Dugla (4595m). You will also cross a small wooden bridge over the Khumbu Glacier River before arriving in Lobuche.

  • Day 14 Lobuche To Gorakshep (4700M), Sunset At Kalapatthar (3-4-Hour Hike)

      From Lobuche, you will continue your trek to Gorakshep. Gorakshep is a major junction point on the classic trek to Everest Base Camp and Kala Pathar. The location also provides an excellent view of the Himalayan range. In the afternoon, go to Kala Patthar to witness the magnificent sunset. This viewpoint provides an excellent panoramic view of Mount Everest, Khumbutse, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Thamserku, Lobuche Peak, and other mountains.

  • Day 15 Visit Everest Base Camp And Kala Patthar, Return To Lobuche (6-7-Hour Hike)

      You travel to EBC, which is approximately 2 hours away, early in the morning. You can enjoy the view from Everest Base Camp before returning to Gorakshep. Afterward, we will return to Lobuche.

      As you continue your journey, you will pass through stunning rhododendron and juniper forests. After crossing the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, you will follow its gorge.       Savor your final view of the mountains youโ€™ve just explored. The flight back to Kathmandu departs before 10:00 a.m., though this can vary depending on the weather. Once you land in Kathmandu, weโ€™ll take you straight to your hotel.

  • Day 20 Sightseeing In Patan And Bhaktapur

      Sightseeing In Patan And Bhaktapur

      Today, our guide will pick you up and drive you to Bhaktapur to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the surroundings and, afterward, visit the Nyatapola Temple, one of the biggest temples in Nepal. You will also visit Pottery Square. Here, you can also take the pottery-making class using traditional methods. 


      Afterward, youโ€™ll be driven to one of Kathmandu Valleyโ€™s ancient cities, Patan Durbar Square, for sightseeing. In Patan, you will be visiting two other UNESCO World Heritage sites: Krishna Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Later on, visit the Patan Museum, where you can learn more about the history of Patan and the kings who reigned here. Later, visit the Golden Temple, a major attraction for both Hindu and Buddhist people, and the Banglamukhi Temple.
