      Arrival in Cusco

      Arrive in the charming city of Cusco after your flight from Mexico City. According to your flight schedule, you will be picked up at the Ricardo Velasco Astete International Airport of Cusco (CUZ) for the transfer to the hotel.

      Check-in time at the hotel is from 15:00 hrs, if you wish you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception and walk around the nearby places to wait for the time when your room is available.

      The rest of the day is free for you to explore Cusco on your own and at your own pace.

      You can take the opportunity to rest and get used to the altitude of this beautiful city in the Peruvian Andes, known for its colonial architecture and important archaeological remains.

      Note: The flight from Mexico City to Cusco is included, it can have up to 2 stopovers and depart between 1 and 2 days prior to arrival in the city. Detailed flight information (airline, route, date and time) will be provided no later than 7 days before the start of the experience.

      This day you start with a delicious breakfast and you go on the tour to the colorful town of Chinchero, where you will see constructions of Inca walls and its small colonial Church; You also participate in the elaboration of Andean fabrics.

      You continue the visit to the famous circular cultivation terraces of Moray.

      You continue the tour to the Salineras de Maras, which has more than 3000 salt wells, this salt was used by the Incas for their consumption. You make a stop in Urubamba for lunch and finally follow the road to the Ollantaytambo station to take the train (Peru Rail Expedition or Inca Rail Voyager) that takes you to Aguas Calientes.

      You start the day very early and after breakfast, you take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Ciudadela Machu Picchu (entrance included).

      The tour guide will explain this historic sanctuary in detail (approx. 2 hrs tour) at the end you return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and later take the train (Peru Rail Expedition or Inca Rail Voyager) to Ollantaytambo.

      Finally, they will move to the luxurious Domes in Soraypampa where you can take a hot shower with a panoramic view of the Salkantay and Humantay mountains, at night you will make a bonfire where the guide will tell you about Andean myths and legends, you can also appreciate the stars and the heat of the campfire.

      Domos - Ascent to Humantay Lagoon - Ceviche and Pisco Sour Show - Cusco

      You start the tour early from the domes in Soraypampa, here you will have a delicious breakfast (included).

      In Soraypampa is the starting point for the walk to the Sacred Lagoon of the Incas Humantay. On the ascent you can observe the great diversity of flora and fauna that inhabits the area.

      As well as typical birds of the region, where you can also admire the wonderful landscape. You continue the path until you reach the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, where the guide will do a small ceremony to thank Pacha Mama.

      Later you will descend for approximately one hour towards the Soraypampa Domes where you will have a sample of the preparation of Ceviche and Pisco sour, followed by lunch.

      In the afternoon you will return to the city of Cusco for accommodation.

      You will leave the hotel very early to go to the point where the trek to Vinicunca begins, which is also called "The Mountain of 7 Colors" During the tour you will observe beautiful landscapes, alpacas, llamas and vicuñas, the ascent is a demanding walk that can take 2 hours at a considerable altitude.

      Upon reaching the mountain you have enough time to take photos and enjoy this incredible place. The descent of the mountain usually takes approximately 1 hour and a half. Later you will have lunch and later you will return to Cusco.

      Take into account that the maximum height of this walk is 5,000 meters above sea level, so it is important to have a good physical condition.
