  • Day 2 Negombo - Sigiriya

The largest of the man-made reservoirs, the huge Parakrama Samudra, the ruins of the Kingโ€™s Council Chamber, the Royal Citadel a so many ancient ruins. Afternoon you will proceed to one of the most iconic and the most famous destination for the wild. We surely can do a Jeep Safari today. Exploring the wild never ends here yet another day begins to grab your Cameras. This afternoon we take a jeep safari of the Minneriya National Park. Itโ€™s the most beautiful destination for enjoy your lovely evening in the wild and watch how animals interact with the Nature. Also, Ruwanweliseya Dagaba; Thuparama - the first Dagaba built enshrining the Collar Bone of the Lord Buddha, Isurumuniya Rock Temple - famous forts sculpture of lovers; Jethawanarama, Samadhi Statue sculpture depicting the meditation posture of the Lord Buddha; Royal Pleasure Garden; Moonstone and the Twin Ponds. En-Route Visit a herbal center where students of Ayurveda learns the traditional medicinal uses of various spices for massages and treatments. We will also make our way to Upper Lake Drive (for a great view of the city), the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya, (one of the finest of its kind in Asia with more than 4000 species of flora, and once the headquarters of Lord Mountbatten) and a Gem Museum.
