Day 1 Day 1: Colombo - Kandy
12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 1: Colombo - Kandy

8:30 You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo, Dambulla, Sigiriya and Habarana. Pick up from Colombo hotels will be done at 08:30am and Pick up from other cities will be done at 11:00am.

13:00 Arrive at Simson’s forest and check-in to one of the rooms before enjoying an authentic Sri Lankan Lunch followed by a cookery demonstration at the Gamagedara which is a lovely outdoor dining area that offers you a traditional Kamatha dining experience in the cool climes of the Hill Country. After lunch, speak to the naturalist in the hotel and learn some interesting stories about the area surrounded by the Simson’s forest.

15:00 You will be taken to a tea plantation where you can enjoy tea plucking with the estate workers.

6:30 After the tea plucking experience, you will start a small hike through the plantation to an area where you can enjoy some beautiful views of the surrounding villages. You may encounter many life forms, both flora and fauna, in this expedition.

17:15 Arrive to a lovely view point and enjoy the views of the surrounding nature with high tea.

18:15 You will start the last phase of your trekking and reach the hotel at 18:30.

19:00 Enjoy 15 minutes foot or head and shoulder message at the spa.

20:00 Enjoy a Candle lit Dinner by the Pool with a heavenly view of the surrounding plains at night that blends with the stars in the sky. One glass of wine will be served during the dinner.
Day 2 Day 2: Kandy - Kitulgala

06:00 Get up early and enjoy the morning sunlight that blends with the mist.

07:00 Enjoy a Champagne breakfast in one of the outdoor dining locations.

08:30 Check out from the hotel and proceed to Kithulgala.

11:00 Arrive at Kitulgala and start Whitewater Rafting tour with our guide. After a safety briefing and a few pointers on rafting technique, we’ll jump right into the action. The river hosts rapids between grades 2 and 3, with the rafting stretch approximately 6.5 kilometers in length, and taking between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to complete, depending on water levels.

13:00 Enjoy Lunch at Borderlands Campsite and spend couple of hours at leisure before starting your hiking experience.

15:00 Hike through the local forests surrounding Kithulgala, passing friendly, smiling villagers. Climb for stunning views of the Kelani River valley, the verdant jungle, and the rocky crag faces of the higher Hill Country.

17:00 Arrive back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure in your tent with the view of Kaleni river.

19:30 Enjoy Dinner in the main restaurant at the campsite.
Day 3 Day 3: Kithulgala - Belihuloya
12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Kithulgala - Belihuloya

09:00 After breakfast, you will be driven to Belihuloya.

12:00 Arrive at Tree House Chalets and check in for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy the surrounding of the hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure.

15:00 You will start your walking trail in the village of Belihuloya with your guide. You will walk through beautiful paddy fields and the friendly welcoming breeze that blow through. (Unpaved muddy path and possible leech bites can be expected). Meet the villagers here, peep into their lives and learn their living style and also you can have a chat with them enjoying a snack. Don’t forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery!

18:00 Arrive back at your hotel refresh with worm water shower before enjoying your BBQ dinner at an outside location. Spend the overnight at Tree House Chalets.
Day 4 Day 4: Belihuloya - Colombo
12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 4: Belihuloya - Colombo

06:00 Wake-up early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel.

07:30 Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

09:00 Your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks).

11:30 Arrive back at the hotel and get refreshed before leaving back to your drop off location. (We will arrange free drop off to your next destination. Please see the inclusions section for details).
