Welcome to take our Sri Lanka private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

On arrival at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met by your private chauffeur-guide and driven to your hotel in Negombo, a seaside town which is only 20 minutes away from the airport.

Friendly Tips:

1). Buddhism is extremely respected in Sri Lanka, any disrespectful words or acts may cause deportation or denial of entry, e.g. Buddha tattoos, kissing/climbing/riding Buddha statue, drinking inside a temple, etc.

2). All Bars inside & outside of the hotel would be kept close during the Poya holiday (full moon day) of the month.

Day 2 Negombo - Dambulla - Sigiriya

Negombo - Dambulla - Sigiriya

Wake up early to visit Negombo Fish Market (6.00 - 6.30am) and gain a unique insight into local commerce. Then visit Lellama - the Fishing Village, Dutch Canal, and study the irrigation system. Later, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, home to many magnificent Buddha images and rock paintings. Take your time to visit all five caves. Later transfer to your hotel in Sigiriya and relax later.

Day 3 Sigiriya

Sigiriya

In the morning the sunlight climbs the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a World Heritage Site. The ’Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle. Visit the world renowned frescoes of the ’Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway.

Later, continue your exploration in the Rural Village of Hiriwadunna. (approximately 25munutes). Travel into the lush countryside by a jeep or a tuk-tuk, alongside paddy fields and rural vegetable plantations. Take a catamaran ride and sail to the other side of a lake, enjoying the fantastic view, and looking out for birds, butterflies, as well as the villagers fishing or washing clothes at the periphery of the lake. Return to your hotel and relax.

Day 4 Sigiriya - Kandy

Sigiriya - Kandy

Morning proceed to Kandy, the blessed city (approximately 3.5 hours). En-route visit the Spice Garden. Spices such as such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, pepper, cardamom are grown in home gardens as home industry.

Kandy is a great place for souvenir shopping and to learn about its rich culture. Take an interesting visit to Kandy Bazaar, Art & Craft Centre and Batik Factory and see the local lifestyle of Sri Lankans. Then visit a Gem Museum & Lapidary to get knowledge in identification of rough gems. In the evening, you will join the Culture Dance Show (5.00pm - 6.00pm) and visit the Temple of Tooth Relics (evening ceremony).

Friendly Tips: To enter in the temple premises women are required to wear long sleeves and skirt or pants to the ankles; men are required to wear long pants, also must be removed, scarf, hats, slipper.

Day 5 Kandy

Kandy

Today you will have great chance to attend Cookery Class conducted by a villager. Sri Lankan cuisine is one of the most complex cuisines of South Asia. There are many different ethnic groups living within Sri Lanka, each with their own individual take on Lankan cuisine. Once you finish your cooking, it will be ready for your lunch today.

Later you will have a leisurely walk around the beautiful Kandy Lake. Return to your hotel & relax.

Day 6 Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, set off for Nuwara Eliya (approximately 2.5-3 hours), a picturesque journey packed with beautiful mountains, waterfalls and tea plantations. Have a stop at cascading Ramboda Waterfall & make a short visit to Hanuman Temple.

On the way get escorted to a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory, where the world’s best Ceylon Tea is produced. After learning about the process of manufacturing tea, get hands-on experience of tea picking, and sip a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Continue to "Little England" town. Check into your hotel & relax.

Day 7 Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains National Park - Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya - Horton Plains National Park - Nuwara Eliya

Early morning enjoy an 8km walk in Horton Plains National Park (approximately 1 hours away from the city), and visit “World’s End”, catching a breathtaking glimpse of Adam’s Peak if the weather allows. The Horton Plains belongs to the Central highlands of Sri Lanka and it’s a World Heritage Site. Return to your hotel and relax.

Friendly Tips: We will use jeep OR van due to narrow roads towards Horton Plains National park; it is recommended to start from Nuwara Eliya around 6.00 - 6.30 am in order to capture the best views; today most probably we will have packed breakfast; it is advisable to bring suitable attire for quite cool climate in the morning.

Day 8 Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Continue the journey to the highlands of Sri Lanka. Board the train leaving from Nanu Oya to the quiet town of Ella (approximately 2.5 hrs ride). Your luggage will travel by vehicle. The scenery en-route is magnificent and far superior to travelling in a car. This is undoubtedly the most scenic train journey in the country. Just before arrival at Ella station, we can see Ella’s Gap from afar.

Upon arrival at Ella Railway Station, you will be picked up by your chauffeur guide. Visit the Nine Arch Bridge on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24m. The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is booming and below, tea leaves are being cultivated. Later transfer to your hotel & relax.

Friendly Tips: Sometimes train will get delay without informing in advance; however our driver will wait for you until you accommodate the train. In case the train got delay for long time, you may go with our vehicle and fees for train is NON refundable. Depending on the schedule we have possibility to try for 2 trains as mentioned bellow subject to availability.

Day 9 Ella - Yala

Ella - Yala

Morning visit Mini Adams Peak - a beautiful tourism site in Sri Lanka. Considering the word ‘Little’, it is named after the sacred Adams Peak (Sri Pada – where the foot print of Lord Buddha is preserved) regarding the similarity between the two mountains. Therefore the mountain was called as Little Adams Peak. (Approximately 2.5-3 hours trek Up & Down).

Descend to jungle of Yala by passing scenic Ella gap & cascading Rawana Waterfalls. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 10 Yala

Yala

Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon we will take an interesting Jeep safari at Yala National Park (safari starts around 2.30 - 3.00pm), to see spotted deer, wild boar and elephant in addition to bird watching. Chances are sloth bear and leopard just ramble around since Yala owns the most leopards in Asia. During the safari you’ll be served fresh watermelon to quench aweary. The tour duration is 2.5 - 3hours by a private safari jeep. All vehicles must leave the park at 6.00pm. Return to your hotel & Relax.

Day 11 Yala - Bentota

Morning proceed to Southern beach side of Sri Lanka (Approximately 4.5 - 5 hours). En-route your eyes will catch amazing scenery of Stilt fishing, a wonderful and once in the life time experience you can have from this tour to Sri Lanka. There are various ways for fishing but this is unique recent traditional way. Then visit the exotic Galle Dutch Fort. Later transfer to your beach hotel & Relax. Dinner is served at the hotel.
