Day 2 Colombo – Dambulla

En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is a sanctuary and breeding habitat for wild Asian elephants in Pinnawala village, Sri Lanka. The orphanage was founded in order to care for abandoned or orphaned wild elephants and provide a safe environment for them to roam. It currently houses approximately 90 elephants and is a popular tourist attraction. Next visit to the famous Sigiriya rock fortress. Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
