      Once arrive in Habarana, you will head out to explore the nearby Ritigala Forest Monastery. This ancient Buddhist monastery is located on a remote mountain, which was once home to a thriving monastic community.

      As the hike to the top of the mountain can be quite challenging, we will only visit Ritigala Forest Monastery if it can be seen without a long climb. Getting to the top requires a hike of 3.5 km through dense forests, with steep sections and uneven ground.

      Next, visit the Isipathanaramaya Buddhist Temple in Colombo, which is a centre for Buddhist learning and meditation. This temple is known for its beautiful architecture and peaceful surroundings.

      Then visit the Sambodhi Chaithya, another important Buddhist temple in Colombo that was built in the 20th century. This temple is known for its distinctive architecture, which combines traditional and modern design elements.
