BEREBER FANTASY (4HRS)(70 EUR) Unforgettable show in the Palmeraie of Marrakech where we will discover Moroccoโ€™s folklore and the traditional attire of the different tribes that inhabit the desertic areas in the south. We will listen to their music and they will show us their dances which are the traditional expression to their most important events: births, weddings, harvest festivals... We will also have the opportunity to attend a horse riding show with world-famous Arab horses. We will go to a belly dance performance which is so intimately connected with Arab culture. We will finally enjoy a gunpowder show also called Fantasia. Its origin, among the inhabitants of kasbahs in southern Morocco, is very old and it is still quite present in all their festivities today.       Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport, youโ€™ll be transferred to your hotel. Our guide will contact you at the end of the day. Dinner will be included.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Casablanca, El Jadida, Safi

      Day 2: Casablanca, El Jadida, Safi

      This morning, weโ€™ll start with an included guided tour of Moroccoโ€™s largest city and economic center. Weโ€™ll stroll along the grand avenues, visit the beautiful Mohamed V Square with its fountain, Moorish buildings, and palm trees, and walk through the Arab League Park. Weโ€™ll also explore the little Medina. Our tour includes admission to the impressive Hassan II Mosque (the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslims), located by the sea and featuring a 210-meter-high minaret with laser lights pointing to Mecca. After the tour, youโ€™ll have free time for lunch in the pleasant maritime area of La Corniche. After lunch, weโ€™ll travel to El Jadida. Its citadel (Mazagan) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by the Portuguese in the early sixteenth century. Weโ€™ll stroll through its picturesque streets, which retain many traces of the Portuguese era, such as the Manueline-style Church of the Assumption. Weโ€™ll also include a visit to the old sixteenth-century cistern. After exploring, our journey will continue to Safi, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner will be included.Note: The old cistern of El Jadida is currently closed for restoration. It is expected to reopen throughout the season.

      With our guide, weโ€™ll visit Safi, a city renowned for its ceramics, highly prized throughout Morocco for their quality and bright colors. Weโ€™ll photograph the Castle of the Sea and its impressive fortress walls, stroll through the charming Medina, and visit the Hill of the Potters with its many shops.Afterward, weโ€™ll continue to Essaouira. Its walled Medina, facing the sea, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This beautifully preserved city is a favorite among artists and painters. Youโ€™ll have free time for lunch and to wander through its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and strong walls struck by the waves.After lunch, weโ€™ll continue along the Atlantic coast, taking in the magnificent landscapes. Weโ€™ll make a brief stop in Taghazout, a picturesque small town known for its fishing and popular with surfers. Then, weโ€™ll proceed to Agadir for accommodation, arriving in the evening. Dinner will be included.

      In the morning, youโ€™ll have free time to enjoy the most popular beach destination in the country. Take some time to relax on one of its endless beaches, stroll along the seafront, or shop in its many retail areas.After lunch, weโ€™ll continue our journey along a scenic highway through the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. After arriving at the hotel, you will be able to experience a traditional Kalesa ride up to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, famous for its lively and nonstop atmosphere. Dinner will be included.

      Today, weยดll explore one of the most fascinating places in the world, the city that gave Morocco its name. Our city tour will take us through its strong walls, the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the Medina, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Bahia Palace (tickets included). Afterward, youยดll have free time for lunch (included) and to relax by the pool or in the hotel garden, or to shop in the souks. In the evening, you can join the Fantasy Party, an optional excursion offered by Europamundo.

      A long journey awaits us: weโ€™ll depart early for the Ouzoud Falls, a tranquil spot in Morocco, home to the highest waterfalls in Northern Africa (110 meters). Nestled in the Middle Atlas, these falls are framed by spectacular gorges. Weโ€™ll enjoy a short boat trip and have lunch at a restaurant with a stunning view of the waterfalls (both included). Youโ€™ll have fun watching the macaques (Moroccan monkeys) that live in the area. Weโ€™ll then continue to the Southern Atlas, arriving in Fez. Before heading to the hotel, weโ€™ll take in the view of the city from the Marinid tombs (depending on the sunlight, this visit may be scheduled for the following day). Dinner will be included.

      Weโ€™ll include a city tour of Fez, entering through the Bronze Gates of the Royal Palace, exploring the Jewish quarter, its bustling souks, and the tannery district. Known as the cultural capital of the country and home to the oldest university in the world, Fez is renowned for its impressive Medina, which preserves the traditional Arab atmosphere like no other. We will end the visit with lunch at an ancient palace in the Medina (included). After lunch, admission will be included to the Archaeological Site of Volubilis, a World Heritage Site. Founded in the third century BC, Volubilis was the capital of Mauretania Tingitana and served as an important military outpost of the Roman Empire, where numerous beautiful monuments were built.Weโ€™ll then visit Moulay Idriss, a holy city and pilgrimage site for Muslims in Morocco, as it is the burial place of the great-grandson of Muhammad and founder of the first royal dynasty of Morocco. The city was closed to non-Muslims until 1912, and until 2005, non-Muslims could not stay overnight there. We will continue to Meknes for dinner (included) and accommodation.

      Tour of Meknes, another fascinating city and World Heritage Site. Founded for military purposes in the eleventh century by the Almoravids, it became the capital of the Kingdom during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail (1672-1727), founder of the Alaouite dynasty. This sovereign built an impressive city in a Spanish-Moorish style, surrounded by high walls and marked by monumental gates. Prepare to be amazed by the immense Bab Mansur gate and the bustling activity in El Hedim Square, reminiscent of Jemaa el-Fna in Marrakech. Admission to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail is includedAfter the visit, youโ€™ll have free time before we continue our journey by bus. Weโ€™ll stop for lunch at a service area and then arrive in Rabat for a panoramic tour of the capital of the Kingdom. Weโ€™ll visit the powerful Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower where the Mausoleum of Mohammed V is located, the Andalusian walls, the outer enclosure of the Royal Palace, and the modern embassy quarters. After our tour, youโ€™ll have free time before we continue to Casablanca, arriving at the end of the day. Dinner will be included.
