      Kathmandu Valley is an ancient city steeped in rich cultures and traditions, and it holds a pivotal place in the history of Nepal. This valley is home to an incredible array of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making it a cultural and historical significance hub that has drawn scholars and adventurers throughout history.

      Today, we will embark on an exploration of some of these UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. These sites are a testament to the valleyโ€™s profound history and the enduring legacy of its heritage. Our day will be filled with visits to these remarkable landmarks, where we can soak in the architectural and cultural marvels that they represent.

      After a day of cultural immersion and historical discovery, we will return to our hotel for a peaceful overnight stay,

  • Day 3 Namobuddha

      Namobuddha

      After enjoying a hearty breakfast, weโ€™ll depart from Kathmanduโ€™s bustling and crowded city, heading towards the serene and picturesque destination of Bhaktapur. Our journey will take us to Dhulikhel, where we will embark on a short walk lasting approximately an hour or more to reach the tranquil village of Namobuddha.

      Namobuddha, also known as Takmo Lujin, holds a fascinating history and is perched on slightly elevated land. One of its prominent attractions is the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in the Karma Kagyu tradition. This monastery is situated at the sacred pilgrimage site of Namobuddha.

      Following our visit to Namobuddha, we will continue our journey towards Balthali, a charming destination that will take approximately 4 hours of walking to reach. Balthali offers breathtaking views of the eastern Himalayas, including the iconic Everest range. This hiking trail is known for its tranquility and offers stunning vistas of hamlets, gorges, and snow-covered peaks.

      Weโ€™ll be accommodated at a resort in Balthali for our overnight stay.

  • Day 4 Kathmandu

      Kathmandu

      After a satisfying breakfast, our journey continues towards Nala Gumba, a region steeped in historical and religious significance. Nala Gumba is known for its cultural and spiritual importance, making it a destination of interest for both Buddhists and Hindus alike.

      The Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling Monastery is the primary attraction in this area, perched atop a hill and offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This monastery holds excellent reverence among the local community and visitors. Inside the Gumba, you can explore various forms of art and sculptures that bear testament to the rich cultural heritage of the region.

      Following our visit to Nala Gumba and absorbing its cultural and spiritual essence, we will return to Kathmandu, where we will spend the night at the hotel.

      Lumbini

      After enjoying a nourishing breakfast, we will set out on a journey to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Siddhartha Gautam Buddha. The drive to Lumbini is a scenic adventure that will take approximately 9 hours from Kathmandu. As we approach Lumbini, you will notice a change in the landscape, transitioning from Kathmanduโ€™s hilly terrain to the Terai regionโ€™s flatland, which holds a special place in Buddhist history and is renowned as one of the worldโ€™s most beautiful and significant Buddhist holy sites. Upon our arrival in Lumbini, you can relax and unwind in the serene and spiritual environment surrounding this sacred place.

      Lumbini

      After a hearty breakfast, our day in Lumbini begins with exploration and reverence. Lumbini, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned as the birthplace of Lord Siddhartha Gautam Buddha and is a revered destination for Buddhists and visitors worldwide.

      Our first stop will be the Maya Devi Temple, where Lord Siddhartha Gautam Budhha was born. This sacred temple holds immense historical and religious significance. Nearby, we will visit the Pushkarni Pond, where it is said that the infant Siddhartha received his first ritual bath after birth.

      Lumbini is eastbout its historical sites but also its alluring monuments, monasteries, museums, and the iconic Peace Pagoda. We will also visit Ashokaโ€™s Pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC, which further highlights the historical importance of Lumbini.

      Lumbini is divided into an eastern and western monastic zone. The area is home to Theravadin monasteries, while the site of the west houses Mahayana and Vajrayana monasteries. Throughout the day, pilgrims from various countries come to Lumbini to engage in chanting and meditation, creating a serene and spiritually charged atmosphere.

      For those interested, there will be opportunities to experience peaceful and meditative moments in this sacred place. As the day chants and meditates, we will return to our hotel in Lumbini.

  • Day 7 Pokhara

      Pokhara

      Following a satisfying breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Pokhara, which takes approximately 7 hours. Pokhara is renowned as one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal and is often referred to as the "City of Lakes."

      This picturesque destination offers splendid panoramic views of majestic mountains such as Fishtail and Dhaulagiri, among many others. The natural beauty of Pokhara is genuinely captivating, and youโ€™ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of this enchanting city.

      Upon reaching Pokhara, you can enjoy a leisurely evening walk along the lakeside, taking in the serene ambiance, or perhaps opt for lakeside cycling to explore the surroundings. Itโ€™s a day of scenic transitions, and you will spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 8 Pokhara

      Pokhara

      Today, our exploration of Pokhara continues, focusing on visiting some of the cityโ€™s prominent Buddhist landmarks. Our first destination is the impressive World Peace Pagoda, a massive Buddhist stupa on a narrow ridge above Phewa Lake. This stupa holds great significance and was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myohji Organization. To reach the stupa, weโ€™ll embark on a boat ride across Phewa Lake and then hike to its elevated location. From the top of the stupa, you will be treated to mesmerizing panoramic views of various mountains, creating a truly breathtaking experience.

      Our next attraction in Pokhara is Mattapani Gomba, another notable Buddhist site that holds its own historical and spiritual significance.

      As the day unfolds, you can create beautiful memories by enjoying a serene boating experience on Phewa Lake. This tranquil boat ride offers a chance to immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds the lake.

      As the day draws closer, we will return to our hotel in Pokhara.

  • Day 9 Kathmandu

      Kathmandu

      Today, we begin our return journey to Kathmandu. The drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu will take approximately 7 hours, providing ample time to enjoy the scenic landscapes.

      Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, you will be promptly transferred to your hotel, allowing you to relax and unwind after the long journey.
