  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive At Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu

      One of the representatives from Escape Himalaya will welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel in Kathmandu. You have no plan scheduled for the day. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Synge/Jagat (1100M), Duration: 8 Hours

      Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Synge/Jagat (1100M), Duration: 8 Hours

      We will, on this day, drive from Kathmandu to Beshisahar taking around 7 hours where you will get to see stunning snow-topped peak scenery. We will then begin trekking with a steep way down to Synge lying at 1070m. On the way, we will also walk by Bahundanda where a large cascade comes into our sight. We will traverse the Marshyangdi River via a suspension bridge. And, walk beside the river to get to Jagat village set at the height of 1100m.   • Day 3 Day 3: Jagat To Dharapani (1960M), Duration: 6 Hours

      On this day, we will leave Jagat and ascend through forest to Chamje lying at 1400m. We will then move ahead on a rocky track following the Marshyangdi River and after that walk uphill to a place named Tal located at 1675m which is the first settlement in the Manang district. Also, we will traverse a wide and a flat valley. We will keep on walking on a rising and falling route to reach finally at Dharapani which has a stone doorway with chortens and typically looks like Tibetan influenced. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Dharapani To Chame (2630M), Duration: 5 Hours

      Walking ahead from Dharapani, we will reach Bagarchap located at 2160 m where we can see flat roofed houses made of stones. We will also notice the village surrounded by maize fields as well as apple orchards. From here, we will ascend to Tyanja set at 2360 m, then we will keep on walking through woods and reach close to the river at Kopar. We will then finally reach the headquarters of the Manang district, Chame where we will be rewarded by the excellent views of Annapurna II. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Chame To Pisang (3300M), Duration: 5 Hours

      We will trek from Chame on this day. We will be passing all the way through wooded area which will take us to the spectacular rounded rock face. This is possibly one of the steepest parts of the Marshyangdi Valley. Walking ahead, we will notice the valley opening with magnificent vistas. We will also get to see Paungda Danda, a huge inclined rock face rising above 1500m above the trail. Walking further from here, we will reach Pisang lying at the height of 3300m.   • Day 6 Day 6: Pisang To Manang (3570M), Duration: 4 Hours

      On this day, we will continue walking through the upper part of the Manang district which is rather drier. We will notice people herding the yaks and depending on agriculture. We will then walk alternatively on north and south route of the Marshyangdi River. We will also move through the striking but partly hidden settlement of Bryanga lying at 3475m before reaching Manang set at 3570meters.Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Manang - Acclimatization Day

      Day 7: Manang - Acclimatization Day

      This is the day to rest and get acclimatized with high elevation. We will relax and also experience short walks to witness the glorious views in the region of Manang and in order to avoid altitude sickness. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Manang To Yak Kharka (4,110M), Duration: 3-4 Hours

      On this day, we will walk further on from Manang and trek to the Yak Kharka lying at the altitude of 4,110m. We will ascend gradually through Tenki Manang and depart from the Marshyangdi Valley. We will also walk all along following the Jarsang River Valley. After that, we will reach Yak Kharka. Over all we will walk for around 4 hours today. In Yak Kharka, we will notice vegetation gradually getting sparser. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Yak Kharka To Thorong Phedi (4,600M), Duration: 3-4 Hours

      We will have a way that moves uphill to Thorang Phedi set at the height of 4,600m from Yak Kharka taking approximately 4 hours. We will also walk across the river via a suspension bridge which takes us to Ledar village. We will also pass through soaring rocks face before getting to Thorang Phedi. โ€˜Phediโ€™ in Nepalese language means the foot of a mountain. Here, you will be rewarded by the paramount views of peaks like Gundang, Thorung Peak, Syagang, and Khantunkan. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Thorong Phedi To Muktinath (3800M) Crossing Over Thorong La Pass (5416M), Duration: 7-8 Hours .

      This is the most important day of the trek and yet challenging. We will be walking early in the morning on this day to avoid bad weather problems. Walking ahead from Thorang Phedi, we will reach at Thorang La Pass lying at the altitude of 5416 m. After ascending for around 4 hours, we will reach at the pass which is decorated with the chortens and prayer flags. As you reach the top, you will be pleased by the wonderful views of the Annapurna, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. We will then descend to holy town - Muktinath. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Muktinath To Jomsom (2600M), Duration: 5 Hours

      We will, on this day, visit the holy Muktinath temple which holds several monasteries. It is a sacred pilgrimage spot to both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu and has 108 water taps around it. Another appeal close by is the Jwala Mai Temple which has an everlasting flame of natural underground gas. We will then walk to Jomsom which is popular for apple and apple produces. Overnight at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

      We will take a flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. Pokhara is the stunning city known as โ€˜The Lake Cityโ€™. Here, you can go for sightseeing in different places. At the hotel, you can just relax for this day. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast, included.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Drive Back To Kathmandu
