Our guests and staff’s safety and well-being are paramount to us. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and have implemented the following measures to ensure a safe environment during our tours: 1. Vaccinated Tour Guides: All our tour guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and that of our guests. 2. Protective Measures for Guides: Our tour guides will wear masks throughout the tour and use gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, and providing hand sanitizer. They will also frequently check their temperatures and refrain from working if sick. They can return to work after receiving a negative COVID-19 test or being fever-free for 14 days. 3. Sanitization of Vehicles: Before each tour, our tour guides will thoroughly sanitize and wipe down all surfaces inside the vehicle to ensure a clean environment for our guests. 4. Temperature Checks: Our tour guides will use non-contact thermometers to check the temperature of each guest before entering the vehicle. Guests with a fever or traveling with others with a fever (temperature above 100.4ºF/38.0ºC) will not be allowed to join the tour. 5. Restricted Front Seat Access: The front seat of the vehicle will be off-limits to guests to maintain distance between guests and the tour guide. 6. Non-Compliance Measures: Guests who refuse to wear masks or abide by social distancing guidelines, thereby jeopardizing the health and safety of others, will be removed from the tour without a refund. 7. Minimal Contact: Our tour guides will be the only individuals handling the opening and closing of vehicle doors during the excursion to minimize contact. 8. Mask Requirements: Guests must wear masks for the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests must provide their masks, and those without masks will not be allowed to take the tour. Children under five or with medical conditions are exempted from wearing masks, while children aged five and over must wear face coverings. 9. Social Distancing: Guests are expected to maintain a 6-foot distance from the tour guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, and other patrons. 10. Sanitization at Stops: Our tour guides will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle at each stop. 11. Hand Sanitizer/Wipes: Our tour guides will provide hand sanitizer or wipes to each customer when they re-enter the vehicle. 12. Limited Group Size: To ensure social distancing, we limit the number of guests on our tours to 8 people. 13. Ongoing Monitoring: Our leadership team will continue to closely monitor the recommendations from reputable health organizations and implement best practices accordingly. 14. Contact Tracing: When making a reservation, we collect guests’ contact information to facilitate contact tracing during a positive COVID-19 case. We are committed to maintaining clear and direct communication about our safety measures and will adapt our plans as needed to ensure our guests’ safest environment. We offer a convenient and hassle-free transportation service for our guests. Our dedicated staff will pick you up directly from your hotel and ensure a comfortable journey to the Tourist Bus Park in Kathmandu or Pokhara.

Upon arrival at Sauraha Bus Park, Tadi, or Bharatpur Airport, our team will warmly greet you. From there, we will arrange your transfer to our resort.

Once you reach our resort, you will be welcomed with refreshments, allowing you to unwind and rejuvenate. Our staff will provide a comprehensive briefing about the resort’s facilities, ensuring you have all the information for a pleasant stay. Following the briefing, we will assign your room, allowing you to settle in comfortably before embarking on your adventure.

The itinerary for the day includes various activities and experiences:

13:30 - Enjoy a delectable lunch, served at 13:00, with a flavorful introduction to the local cuisine.

15:00 - Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the ethnic Tharu community by visiting a nearby Tharu village. Learn about their unique way of life, traditions, and customs, gaining a deeper understanding of the local culture.

Explore the National Park Visitor’s Center, where you can delve into the rich history of the Chitwan National Park and its diverse wildlife. Gain insights into the conservation efforts and remarkable biodiversity of the region.

Witness the breathtaking sunset from the serene banks of the Rapti River, allowing you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding you.

07:00 - Embark on a captivating canoe ride along the picturesque Rapti River. This serene journey offers an excellent bird-watching opportunity, allowing you to marvel at the diverse avian species. Additionally, you might be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of two rare species of crocodiles, the Marsh Mugger and the fish-eating Gharial. On your return, you may also witness elephants bathing, adding to the enchanting experience.

13:30 - Savor a delectable lunch, providing a satisfying break during your day’s activities.

15:00 - Prepare for an exhilarating Jeep Safari. This adventure offers an exceptional opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of four different kinds of deer, the magnificent rhinoceros, wild boar, playful monkeys, elusive leopards, the endearing sloth bear, and, if luck is on your side, the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
