  • Day 1 Arrival in Chihuahua

      Arrival in Chihuahua

      Upon your arrival in Chihuahua, a representative will be waiting for you to transfer you from the Chihuahua International Airport to the accommodation (30 minute drive).

      In the afternoon you will have a guided walk through the Historic Center of the city, where you will visit the Government Palace, Altar to the Homeland (site where Father Hidalgo was shot), the Cathedral, Museum of the Colonial Aqueduct Revolution (duration approx. 3 hrs.)

      Note: The transfer time from the airport is from 08:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. It is necessary to inform the operator of your flight schedule by chat at least 10 days before your arrival. If your flight arrives at a different time, you must take a taxi to the hotel for an estimated price of 200 MXN (not included)

  • Day 2 Mennonite Tour and Creel

      Mennonite Tour and Creel

      After breakfast at the hotel, you start the journey along the road to Creel.

      During the journey you will have the opportunity to visit a Mennonite Community, currently they continue to maintain their customs and ideology over the years.

      You will also tour the museum and visit a traditional Mennonite family home, here you will taste sandwiches based on products that they make themselves, such as: cookies, cheese, cream, milk, etc. (duration approx. 2 hrs).

      Then we will continue by road to Creel arriving approx. at 3:00 pm

      In the afternoon you will enjoy a walk around Creel, visiting Lake Arareco, Valle de los Hongos (interesting rock formations), the Old Jesuit Mission of San Ignacio de Arareco and the Indigenous Cave (duration approx. 2 hrs.)

      At night you return to the hotel where you can relax a bit for tomorrow to continue with the tour.

      You start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and you prepare to discover the surroundings on your own or relax for a while since you have free time until approximately 10:00 AM. (The guide will indicate the time at which the transfer to Barrancas will be made).

      Once the time is up, they head towards Barrancas del Cobre arriving at approximately 12:00 PM where the trip to the Barrancas del Cobre Adventure Park will begin, famous for its different viewpoints and the flown stone (duration of the activity approximately 2 hours).

  • Day 4 Barrancas - Cerocahui

    • 8:00 am - 3:15 pm

      Barrancas - Cerocahui

      You finish breakfast and take the road to the town of Cerocahui for a little over 2 hours (approximate time).

      Later they will check in at the hotel.

      After leaving your belongings at the hotel, you together with the guide and the group meet to eat (the guide will give you the directions and the meeting time).

      Once they finish eating, they will go for a panoramic walk to Cerro del Gallego where there are beautiful panoramic views of the Urique Canyon, one of the deepest found in the Copper Canyon (approximate duration 3 hrs.)

      At night they will return to the hotel to have dinner and rest. Tomorrow is your big day where you will travel on the famous train from El Chepe Chihuahua to Sinaloa. Here you will enjoy beautiful views.

  • Day 5 Cerocahui - Bahuichivo - El Fuerte

      You get up very early to taste your delicious breakfast.

      On this day you will live one of the most impressive train experiences in the world: El chepe

      In the morning after breakfast (included) you will go to the railway station to board the Chepe Express train (tourist class). Once on board, the journey begins towards El Fuerte, to continue through the Sierra Tarahumara, here the train continues downhill towards the Pacific plains.

      In the landscape you will be able to admire the great coniferous forests, slopes and the incredible work of engineering that the valley of El Fuerte, Sinaloa has.

      Approximately 6 hours of travel.

      Once they arrive at El Fuerte they are transferred to the hotel and you will have the whole afternoon free to discover the place.

  • Day 6 El Fuerte - Transfer to Los Mochis International Airport
