      Upon arrival at local airport, an English-speaking host and driver will meet you and will accompany you to the hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and explore the colourful streets of Getsemani neighbourhood, one of the areas of Cartagenaโ€™s historic centre, where the local way of life still remain preserved. Learn about local traditions, curious stories about its people, and spot some of the vibrant street art that reflect the social resistance and culture of this neighbourhood. NOTE: Donโ€™t forget your comfortable shoes, hat and sunscreen!Late afternoon, meet your host at the hotel lobby. Do not forget to put on your dancing shoes and learn how to dance salsa with professional dancers who will teach you their best moves to dance the night away!

      Today you will enjoy a specail Caribbean Cooking Class. After meet your local guide at the hotel lobby you will be transferred to the place for cooking class.  A local chef will teach you how to make some of Cartagenaโ€™s most typical dishes such as ceviche, seafood soup in coconut milk and white wine, coconut rice, plantain chips, and a few other Colombian secrets. The menu can be designed based on your preferences. The class takes place at a private location in the Old City.  

      NOTE: Menu can be adapted for cooking with children. Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies.

      Day 5: Cartagena De Indias - Islas Del Rosario

      Morning private transfer to Cartagenaโ€™s dock where your boat will be waiting. Aboard a speedboat (size depending on how many people), and depart towards the Islas del Rosario archipelago, located 50-minutes from Cartagena. These rugged islands are blessed with clear blue waters, colourful coral reefs, and diverse marine life. Spend the day cruising between island and snorkelling at your rythm. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking host who will look after you for the day. Please request our speedboat and yacht options to upgrade to a bigger boat, and our Snacks and Drinks menu to find your selection of wines, beers, liquors, and snacks when you board the boat.(Please bring cash with you as some Island restaurants donโ€™t accept CC.)

      You can enjoy lunch (NOT INCLUDED) at one of the restaurants located in the islands. Please inform us your preference between a fun young lively beachclub with great food and amazin grinks or a chilled back lounge beach, more private with new dishes everyweek and a large variety of drinks to relax and enjoy a nice nab by the beah. After lunch, Drop off at Hotel Las Islas 

      Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Additional experiences such as stargazing, plankton night observation, cooking class or spa treatments can be book directly with the hotel.

      Day 6: Islas Del Rosario

      Today is at leisure, you can take any additional experiences directly with the hotel such as: 

      Cooking Class to learn to make traditional dishes from the region such as ceviche, shrimp cocktail and fried foods with a local cook from Barรบ. 

      Plankton Night Observation: a tour the beaches near Cholรณn, where you will jump into shallow waters near the mangroves and observe plankton from the floor of white sand beaches. The plankton night tour is gratuitous for guests of Las Islas and should be coordinated with Guest Service staff. 

      Walk with local guides:  Explore the village of Barรบ accompanied by local guides.

      In due time, meet your English-speaking guide and driver at the hotel lobby for a private transfer to Cartagenaโ€™s Rafael Nuรฑez International Airport. Approximate transfer time is 1,5 hour.
