      The cycling holidays start in Salzburg. Check in and you receive your travel documents for your bike tour. Enjoy an individual stroll through Salzburg. Tip: We recommend an evening concert at the Fortress Hohensalzburg.

      The handover of your rented bike (if booked) is at Hotel Amedia on your first cycling day before you leave Salzburg. Continue cycling through Salzburgโ€™s Flachgau via Eugendorf to Thalgau along the impressive Drachenwand (dragon wall) before you reach the picturesque Lake Mondsee. Up in Scharfling a magnificent view opens up towards Lake Wolfgangsee from where your cycling tour leads down rapidly to lovely St. Gilgen, Mozartโ€™s town. Depending on your booked hotel the boat and ferry ride is on the second or third day of your cycle tour.

      Today you cycle in direction Bad Ischl, the emperor village offers a great variety of culture, local and international specialties and history and was the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and many artists. Cycling along the River Traun via Ebensee you will reach Traunkirchen.

      Similar to a fjord Lake Traunsee forces its way through, between Mt. Traunstein and the Hรถllengebirge range. Cycling to Gmunden, well-known for its ceramics manufactory and Castle Ort we recommend a stroll along the beautiful lake promenade, before you continue your bike tour through the Aurachtal valley in direction Lake Attersse.

      Follow the turquoise Lake Attersee to Unterach reaching after approx. 2 km Lake Mondsee. Cycling along the north bank to the village of Mondsee, you can visit the pre-historic stilt houses and enjoy some local specialties along this cycle route.
