Itinerary

Day 1: Trek through Kandy

Pass By: Kandy City Center, Kand, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Start your trekking from Kandy and move forward to Mahiyanganaya street and another 18 km by a vehicle. You will witness gardens, vegetable fields, rice fields, tea manor and scenic landscapes. The trek is around 8 km one way and its 16 km altogether. Once you have completed the trail, travellers can relax beside a waterfall.

Day 2: Mahiyanganaya

Pass By: Commercial Bank Mahiyanganaya Branch, No 03, Kandy Road, Mahiyanganaya, Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you will trek through tea estate, pine woodland, which is around 18 km. Witness the city attractions of Kandy and other localities during this trek. From there, transfer to Mahiyanganaya by vehicle. Reach the camp by 20 minutes sailboat ride to spend the night in a camp.

Day 3: Vedda Village

Pass By: Dambana Wedi Gammanaya, Dambana Road, Sri Lanka
Continue to watch the birds and kayaking in the morning. Next, walk to visit the Sri Lankan aborigines called Veddas in the Dambana village. Spend the night in the Vedda village.

Day 4: Wasgamuwa

Stop At: Wasgamuwa National Park, Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
Wasgamuwa National Park is a nature park situated in the Matale and Polonnaruwa Districts. It is a wildlife reserve protecting animals displaced during the Mahaweli Development Project in 1984.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 5: Kandy

Stop At: Pitawala Pathana, Rattota-Illukkumbura Road, Matale 21000 Sri Lanka
Pitawala Pathana is a grassland sited in the Knuckles mountain range with the highest ecological importance.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Pitamaruwa Mini Worlds End, Pitamaruw Rd, Pitamaruwa 90544 Sri Lanka
Mini Worldโ€™s End is a cliff sited at the southern end of the Knuckles range. Although, it a short trail, the panoramic view from the knuckles range is astonishing.
Duration: 3 hours
